- I’d like to introducing my self. My name is siti patimah, from 3D D4 marketing management, and the topic for my presentation today is “ Joining My Communities changed me better”
- The theme of my talk is change
- This presentation focuses on the issue of how I have changed for the better after joining several social communities.
- Did you know if develop your self better is necessary? This is reason for my presentation today.
- So the purpose of my presetation today is to inform / sharing about changing my self Slide 2
- well this is the part that I will explain in my presentation this time - first I will tell about my self
- second, I will tell you how I first joined the social ommunity - then I will continue to tell my development
- my talk will las approximately five minutes and will be happy to answer any question if any.

- now I start with myself, I am an introvert person. at the beginning I really didn't like crowds and meeting lots of people.
- I think doing that is tiring. I live life in a straight line. school then college.
- in college I only study and go home, because during the pandemic I only did online lectures and just stayed at home without doing anything
- I only joined one campus organization, which I thought was enough. but I just realized when I was in semester 3 I felt lacking in what I was currently living
- until finally when I scrolled on Instagram and saw one of the open recruitment posts in one of the social communities I was interested in joining. and finally I registered, did an interview and apparently I passed.
- pretty good news. I followed the member acceptance process and I was happy. that was the beginning of my being able to join several social communities

- well next I want to convey about joining the social community. when I first joined I felt this was something really new
- when the series of open recruitment and acceptance processes have been completed, then move on to the work program to be carried out
- What I like about this community is that it focuses on several fields, one of which is education and with its flagship program, the Ruang Sinau
- when I joined the program I felt myself different. and I think I can do many useful things for other people. In this Ruang SInau program, my community will help improve the quality of education in the Malang Raya area which needs assistance.
- This makes me more aware of the problems around me. thus increasing my sensitivity - when I joined the social community I learned a lot of lessons. such as caring, leadership, and
cooperation
- I found new things that I might not find anywhere else. as in the ruang sinau program whose activities teach school children. teaching turns out to be able to shape myself into something different, sharing the knowledge I have with other people is quite fun.
- besides that there are also several other programs such as "sharing", which is a program for sharing such as food or groceries for the needs of people in need. with this program I feel that there are still many people who need it more than me and I feel very grateful about life - besides that I also met many great people and being able to discuss with many people with
different backgrounds was enough to make me happy and add to my valuable experience - and finally I became happy and comfortable. so I joined several communities in various
fields, such as social, education, literacy.

- by joining several communities. I became acquainted with many friends from different areas. like when I participated in tree planting in Bojonegoro and met many friends in Bojonegoro.
- and when I attended a national gathering event in one of my communities which was held in Makassar. it was very nice that i met people from all over indonesia and got to know a lot of these people, it was quite pleasant
- also when I went to Surabaya, lots of my community friends from Surabaya welcomed and invited me to go for walks in Surabaya, travel and culinary. I think this is a bonus when I have lots of friends from different areas I will easily visit the area.

- well next last point self development
- I after following various communities. I feel myself growing. about leadership, caring, time management, and many more.
- The best and memorable experience in my opinion was when I served as head of the entrepreneurship division in one of my communities
- I really learned a lot when I served the vision. namely about recruiting people, managing people, leading meetings, caring about people, understanding people's character
- when I served as the head of the division I experienced a lot of obstacles that might make myself stressed. but I think this is my best experience, because managing my volunteers is very difficult, with different activities and different ages it is also a challenge for me - I am very proud of myself when I can do all that
- I joined several communities with various fields such as turun tangan malang, gerkan perpustakaan anak nusantara, Gpan Kediri, satu perpustakaan satu kehidupan, ketimbang ngemis malang, kelas inspirasi made me learn more with people from different backgrounds - I learned a lot of things and it has changed me a lot for the better
