These
species willbe more

in preparation.The two
species ofMithrax belong
tothe group
ofM. hispidus

isbroad-ovate and more
or lesslumpy and
themar-
ginal spines
more
or lesscomplex,
eitherwith a secondary
spine oraccessory

Description.
— On the postero-lateral margin there is a tuberclewhich
forms the outermost unit of a transverse row
ofthree tubercles on the
dorsum,thisrow
being subparallel toanotheranteriorrow
ofthreetuber-
cles. Rostral sinus u-shaped, about aswide as each horn; horns longer

Description.
—
Carapace wider than in the allied species; no spine nor tubercle present on the postero-lateral margin; above the margin arow
of
two
tubercles runs obliquely transverselybackward
from the spine at the lateral angle; firsttwo
antero-lateral lobes rectangular. Rostral sinus V-shaped, horns verywide. Two
tubercles or blunt spines on an- teriormarginofarm.Microphrys antillensis, sp. nov.

Description.
— Two processeson
the antero-lateral wallofthe carapace,
the hepatic processhaving an
anterior, outward-projecting toothand
the
branchial process notrimmed
nor sharply defined. Two
adjacent bran-
chial spines (paired), one near the lateral angle, the other in almost a
transverse line. No
lobe on margin ofbasal antennal articlebehind the
antero-externalspine.

lengthofhorns 1.4 mm.,
widthofcarapace without spines8.2mm.,
with
spines8.4mm.
Description.
— The
branchial region bears a high obliqueelevation, divided in two, the anterior part elongateand
bilobed at summit, the posterior part smalland
conical; in thesame
line is a stout, curved, sharp spine at thelateralangleofcarapace; a conical tubercleintransverse line with thespine; a granulated, raised areoleon either side ofthe cardiac region;a finely granulated, depressed areole at inner angle ofbranchialregion.
Cardiac
and
mesogastric regions nodulose; a transverse curveof5 tuber- clesacrossthegastric region. An
archof4 tubercles abovethe posterior margin; below it 2 smaller tubercles sideby
side. Carapace wider an- teriorlythanusual, orbitsmore
tubular; preorbital tooth not produced.Antero-lateral spine of basal article of antenna broad, flat, projecting obliquely outward;it isfollowedonthe outer margin
