Asnawi Abdullah is a Professor in public health with 25 years of working experience, research and consultancies. Now he is a Dean for Faculty of Public Health and Director of Postgraduate Program at University Muhammadiyah Aceh. He was a Monev and Research Adviser for maternal and neonatal health AIPMNH Project funded by AusAID/DFAT in Kupang; Research Officer for Health System Strengthening Unit, Nossal Institute for Global Health, Univ. Melbourne Australia. He received PhD degree in Epidemiology and Population Health, from School of Public Health and Preventive Medicine, Monash University. He has a double master’s degrees in Health Services Management from Monash University and master’s degree in Health Policy, Planning and Financing (HPPF) from London School of Economics (LSE) and DLSHTM from London School Hygiene and Tropical Medicine (LSHTM). He highly experiences in data analysis, longitudinal data analysis, time-series, case-control study, survey and health system analysis. He has done several consulting jobs relates to epidemiology, public health, maternal and child health, health system, risk factors and non-communicable disease for the World Bank, ADB, UNICEF, WHO and AusAID/DFAT and several projects funded by national/international agencies/NGOs.
