RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN SELF-CONFIDENCE AND LEARNING MOTIVATION WITH LEARNING OUTCOMES OF FLOOR GYMNASTICS IN

SMP NEGERI 2 SOKARAJA

Background: Physical education is a systematic process of interaction between students, teachers, and the surrounding environment that aims to shape humans through effective physical activity. Floor gymnastics is a sport that requires courage when doing it. Various problems can occur as a result of interactions that occur during the sports learning process in the educational environment, one of the problems that arise is the process of tendency between one individual and another, individuals who have a lower tendency will cause problems with their self-confidence, self-confidence and learning motivation are important factors that make a big difference between whether someone succeeds or not. In this study measuring self-confidence and student learning motivation to determine the relationship between self-confidence and learning motivation with floor exercise learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja.

Methodology: this research uses descriptive quantitative research with correlational methods.

The sampling technique used was purposive sampling and 74 respondents were obtained. The data analysis technique uses the Pearson product moment correlation test with a significance level of <0.005 which is assisted by SPPSS.

Research Results: Based on the results of research on self-confidence and learning motivation with floor exercise learning outcomes at SMP Negeri 2 Sokaraja, there is a significant relationship between self-confidence and learning motivation with floor exercise learning outcomes. There is a difference in results between the relationship between self- confidence and learning motivation with the correlation results of self-confidence of 0.676 and learning motivation of 0.584.

Conclusion: There is a relationship between self-confidence and floor exercise learning outcomes with a unidirectional relationship and with a strong level of relationship and there is a relationship between learning motivation and floor exercise learning outcomes with a unidirectional relationship and has a moderate level of relationship.
