Relationship of Psychological Empowerment as Mediators to Emotional Intelligence and Work Engagement of Workers the Transition of The Endemic
Covid-19 In Jakarta

ABSTRACT
Employees work during in Covid-19 can adapt following health protocols according to the health program. Performance process must run in accordance with company procedures. The research phenomenon affects job evaluation during the pandemic which affects the way of thinking of workers in Jakarta. The purpose of this researching work engagement, emotional intelligence and psychological empowerment. This study uses a quantitative descriptive method. This study uses the Utrecht Work Engagement Scale (UWES) dimensions vigor 6 items, dedication 5 items and absorption 6 items developed by Schaufeli & Bakker, Wong and Law Emotional Intelligence Scale (WLEIS) dimensions SEA 4 items, OEA 3 items, UOE 3 items dan ROE 3 items developed by Wong and Law dan Psychological Empowerment Questionnaire (PEQ) dimensions meaning 3 items, competence 3 items, self-determination 3 items dan impact 3 items developed by Spreitzer. PROCESS V3.5 Procedure for SPSS from Andrew F. Hayes is used in this study to analyze the mediation regression process. The results showed that without psychological empowerment as a mediator, the value of the relationship between emotional intelligence and work engagement increased and was significant. This study hopes to provide a reference for workers and companies regarding the values of work engagement, emotional intelligence, and psychological empowerment that provide career change during the Covid-19 era.
