Rasa menyakitkan yang selau muncul dan sangat berat untuk direalisasikan sering disebut dengan kerinduan. Seseorang yang dahulunya sangat dekat jaraknya dengan kita membuat kita merasa sangat aman untuk berada di sisinya dan tidak ingin lepas maupun jauh darinya. Untuk merepresentasikan perasaan dapat dituangkan melalui untaian kata pada lirik lagu. Pada umumnya lirik lagu diartikan sebagai suatu unsur dari pengelompokkan karya sastra lebih tepatnya puisi. karya sastra yang termasuk ke dalam jenis puisi. Hal ini dikatakan demikian karena lirik lagu memiliki persamaan unsur dengan puisi.
Puisi dapat ditandai dengan jumlah katanya yang sedikit namun memiliki banyak makna. Lagu dituliskan oleh sang penyair sebagai salah satu perwujudan perasaan, ungkapan sikap, dan aspirasi terhadap suatu peristiwa. Ungkapan perasaan dari seorang penyair biasanya dicurahkan melalui tulisan dan hal ini dapat disebut dengan lagu. Setiap lirik yang tertuai pada sebuah lagu tentu memiliki makna yang tersirat maupun tersurat. Pada dasarnya tidak semua orang yang mendengar lagu langsung dapat mengetahui maknanya. Proses penganalisisan makna biasanya memerlukan beberapa tahapan yang akhirnya dapat membantu si pendengar memahami setiap makna yang tertuai di lirik lagu. Lagu merupakan suatu hal yang marak didengar dalam kehidupan manusia. Sang penulis lagu atau penyair banyak menaruh makna agar setiap pendengarnya penasaran.

The pain that arises and is very heavy to realize is often called longing. Someone who used to be very close to us makes us feel very safe to be by his side and not want to be loose or far from him. To represent the feeling can be poured through the strings of words in the lyrics of the song. In general, song lyrics are interpreted as an element of grouping literary works more precisely poetry. This is said to be so because the lyrics of the song have elemental similarities with poetry. Poetry can be characterized by a small number of words but has many meanings. The song was written by the poet as one of the manifestations of feelings, expressions of attitude, and aspiration towards an event. The expression of feelings of a poet is usually poured out through writing, which can be called a song. Every lyric contained in a song certainly has an implied or express meaning. Not everyone who hears a song instantly can know its meaning. The process of analyzing meaning usually requires several stages that can eventually help the listener understand each meaning contained in the lyrics of the song. Songs are something that is widely heard in people's lives. The songwriter or poet puts a lot of meaning so that every listener is curious.

INTRODUCTIONThe reflection of each person’s attitude can be represented by song lyrics that can give a powerful touch to each listener. Such a work of imagination makes us drown and drift in every lyric that is neatly arranged in a song.
The song is one of the amazing works that can make listeners enjoy it with the combination of music, arrangements, and meaning of each lyric. The song itself can be found eating from the lyrics of the song by reviewing each lyric using semiotic theory, which is a field of science that explores lessons about the process of tone systems.
An imaginative work can be called a literary work. Literary works are very efficient to be fun entertainment and expanding the vocabulary of readers, every word that is literary in his literary work is a very beautiful and meaningful strand of words, Literary works themselves have an important role in representing the feelings of the listener and the author. Usually, the author gives an essay that can give a touch of the word to bring out aspects of beauty and aesthetic properties in his writing. The quality of work can be determined by each use of the language style written by the word spoken.
A form of literary work categorized in the real application is characterized by the use of language with a touch of sweetness, beautiful, interesting, and has the appeal of everyone who enjoys it called a song. Poetry and song lyrics have the same characteristics
that conveyor express feelings, attitudes, self- reflection, complaints, and so on. Through song lyrics usually one can feel better or even vice versa. This is one proof that the lyrics of the song are able and indeed serve as a representation suggestion from the listener. An interesting style can liven up sentences and give a special boost to the song you are listening to. The existence of writing a good language style will increase the listener's interest and can cause thought responses to the reader or listener. Rhymes found in some works usually arise from the separation of the lyrics of the song and the music itself.
The lyrics of the song are not only a piece written by the author but have a certain meaning. The existence of meaning contained in the lyrics of the song will make a song work will feel more perfect to enjoy. Through songs and song lyrics, one can communicate. A poet wants his work as a form of expression that can make an experience and increase the desire of the soul of each listener. Generally, poets, writers, or creators only use words sufficiently and not excessively so that it is easier to study or examine the meaning of the listener or reader. The right word selection can incarnate every soul that hears, song lyrics that have a density of meaning can be a means of poetic communication that is aesthetic. Communicating can be done to anyone and has a specific purpose to get a topic of discussion. Communication is an activity that has been done since the world began to be formed. Communication is an activity that can be done directly or indirectly by humans as one of the proofs of the life of social creatures while still alive. Communication aims to convey something that can be a message to others. The delivery of communication can be done through various things. Advances in technology make the communication process can take place well. The technology in question can be television, radio, magazines, and others. Advances in technology make
humans more creative to convey a message by communicating through the medium. Film, song, and music are some of the means of supporting good communication.
Music is a means for humans to increase the feeling of pleasure, comfort, and joy, the effectiveness of music in conveying the message is very helpful for every listener to be able to interpret the song (Storr, 2015). Music is very influential on the mental and physiological development of the brain. Music also greatly helps people feel more confident, reduce sadness, vent longing, relieve stress, reduce anxiety, and remove anger. Music contains lyrics written directly by the author or songwriter. The use of language used in song lyrics has a very significant difference from the language used daily. Usually, the lyrics contained in the song are more aesthetically and raw, the meaning of each lyric makes the listeners better find out the meaning where it is (Purwatiningsih, 2020). The equalization of words written by the author is usually a representation of the thoughts and feelings of the author.
The selection of the song titled "Mother How Are You Today" by Maywood is because this song provides a touch for every listener.
Generally, the people who listen to this song are a mother and daughters who are far away.
Every sentence written in the lyrics of this song chalks up a memory that used to happen very often between mother and child but is no longer so. This song by Maywood is a

This work was written using qualitative observation methods. The existence of self- exploration and song lyrics itself is support the success of this work. Existing exploration is used as a developer of means to increase the creativity of thinking in analyzing song lyrics, developing the meaning of each word, and distorting the meaning of the song.
Understanding and viewpoint of researchers are the main means of writing this work.
Opinion and the search literature means of support in writing this work to get maximum results. Qualitative exploration systems and qualitative description evaluations are very efficient to apply to the activity of analyzing songs to get a decent finish.
The expansion of qualitative descriptions is done to be able to research every aspect related to the lyrics of the song.
All the information is obtained from a foreign language song titled "Mother How Are You Today" composed by a musician and even singer, Alice May. The composition of this song was written and then recorded meaningfully. The meaning sung by Maywood is a full study that can be considered for each metaphor of the sentence. This process is done by devaluing meaning and expanding meaning based on the help of literature studies.

Results
The writing of the work is done based on the analysis of each word. Representative longing can be discussed in the next section to find and perfect the point of discussion of metaphorically analyzing song lyrics as further discussion.

The application of poetry sung is an understanding of the lyrics of the song (Negus
& Astor, 2015). Lyrics are works of poetry that contain an outpouring of the personal

feelings of their creator. Lyrics are a form of a person's expression about something that is seen, heard, or experienced. Understanding lyrics is a work that forms flexion by singing.Lyrics are a work that is generally analyzed with literary works (poetry) where there are several feelings and thoughts from the creator (Bradley, 2017). A song composition can give a touch to the feelings of everyone who hears it, song lyrics are designed as best as possible to be able to represent how the listener feels.
Mother How Are You Today has the meaning of longing for a princess who is very far from her beloved mother. Different from the song in general, this song is very touching to all our body senses. Ears that hear are increasingly unable to hear because they hold the dam longing for the mother. Lyrics are considered poetry because lyrics are expressions of feeling indirect (Culler, 2015). This song is different from other songs, where the girl is very eager to give good news so that the mother does not worry about him. This gives the impression that each lyric is very representative of something that is very wanted to be said but indirectly (Myrna, 2019).
The uniqueness of this song can be found in the repetition of the word "Mother How Are You Today?". Based on the research method of qualitative exploration, this sentence shows an expression that wants to be implemented directly but cannot. The sentence mother how are you today is the main point of the representation of the yearning of the author
for the intended object. The lyrics of this song create aesthetic effects in it, such as the presence of elements of rhetoric and style of language. Generally, a child who is far from his mother’s existence will try to tell good things, ask for news, and give surprises. The philosophy of the word mother is a fantastic woman (extraordinary). The great wall in question is a boundary or obstacle that is difficult to pass.Self-adaptation in this case is very important to do. This is due to the many factors that become the argument that a child who has traveled and existence away from parents will be very difficult to meet again if there is no opportunity possible. Forms of self- adaptation are needed and spoken by the author to be able to withstand longings that have lasted a very long time and provide comfort words for parents so as not to worry about the speaker or author.
The existence of sentences that are aesthetically very influential on a song that will be heard by many people. Songs that have metamorphic sentences challenge listeners to better train themselves in imagining and reflecting on the meaning, message, and essence of a song. Analyzing the meaning and message of a song is a rather complicated thing. But many people like the way to interpret, anesthetize song lyrics with metamorphic analysis methods. A song will be
easier to understand if translated into Indonesian first.
In the effort to select a song, a person has a strong desire to represent it. Based on an unwritten survey it is known that many people prefer songs based on the conditions and situations that are being faced. This song gives influence the change of feelings that can touch the heart and release tears from the eyes. The unsusorable longing for girls towards mothers is something that is felt by nomads who are very far from home.

However, if a child is already far from the mother, then this sentence is the main topic of conversation when greeting to ask for news.
This song reminds parents, especially mothers of girls. Mothers teach their daughters to be able to take good care of themselves and stay away from things that can damage them.
This teaching is done by every mother to her daughter because they want their daughter to live safely and comfortably. Mother always expects her daughter to be able to find a man who can maintain, shade, educate, lead her to a good and right path, and able to provide enough living to support his daughter. Togetherness between the daughter and the man of her dreams may make a concern for the mother figure to always worry about the condition, situation, and circumstances of her daughter.
The song is performed by the author based on his personal experience where there is a great distance between mother and daughter. The author had to go traveling and wait a long time to be able to return home and be able to feel the warmth of the house again.

This place of return is strongly related to the existence of the mother in life. This is said because you will never bring us down, you will never judge us if we want to tell us everything. Mother will always be there to hear us tell her all our complaints about the world and will probably give us a lot of advice that will give us a new outlook. In addition to giving advice, the mother will also be a very supportive person to always give support to us children to keep the spirit of running this life. This lesson can be known as teaching her daughter to cook healthy cuisine and being able to make a good contribution to the body's metabolism to be able to do activities or daily activities. CONCLUSION
Song lyrics will be easier to understand if the listener of the song can implement a method of metamorphic analysis to review and get the meaning and message of the song. The metamorphic analysis is one effective way for listeners to study song lyrics more deeply. The song "Mother How Are You Today" means a child's longing to be able to embrace and want to meet his mother. This meaning can be inferred using the metaphorical methods described above.
Analyzing this unwittingly gives a positive effect that expands vocabulary in various languages and more fluent in interpreting a
