The mean value of students in the pre-test was 62.64 and the post-test was 81.56. Therefore, the writer hopes that the English teachers, especially of SMP Negeri 35 Makassar, can apply this strategy in the learning process for writing, to achieve the learning goal which is effective, systematic and pragmatic. And the writer also expressed her special thanks to all her friends in English Education 2012 and 2013. As a human being, the writer realizes that what she presents from the skripsi is still far from perfection.

This means that students are expected to be able to make the simple transactional and interpersonal conversion potentially necessary to communicate in a school context. Although the teacher had an approach to the learning process in the classroom, but he could not arouse the interest of the students. Writing limits students' ability to plan and strategy writing, which is viewed from the generic structure such as orientation, plot and resolution, the language used is past tense and conjunction.

Some Previous Related Research

Null hypothesis (H0): The use of planning and writing strategy in writing on students' narrative texts at SMP Negeri 35 Makassar. Alternative hypothesis (H1): The planning and writing strategy can be used on students' writing on narrative texts at SMP Negeri 35 Makassar. Material: The writer explained about the Plan and Write Strategy procedure and then the students were asked to write a narrative text about pleasant experiences.

The research findings were to answer the problem statement which aimed to find out the effect of students' writing plan and writing strategy. The data result can be viewed based on student score, rate percentage and average student score in pre-test and post-test on the next page. Therefore, the use of planning and writing strategy in this research has a great impact on students' writing ability due to the improvement of writing aspects.

The result indicated that the planning and writing strategy indicates a positive effect on the students' writing skills. Planning and writing strategy is one of the most fundamental factors that contribute to students' writing skills. This was proven by the facts that the students' scores after using the planning and writing strategy (post-test) were higher than before using the planning and writing strategy (pre-test).

In other words, students' writing ability improves after being given the review material through planning and writing. Based on the findings and discussion in the previous chapter, students' writing skill was improved by using the planning and writing strategy of SMP Negeri 34 Makassar. Teaching Narrative Text By Using Plan And Write

Before engaging students in the Plan and Write strategy, teachers first introduce the concept of the Plan and Write strategy along with the benefits to the students. Then the teacher explains to the students that the Plan and Write strategy would help them develop their ability to write a story. Then explain the ground rules for using the Plan and Write strategy when writing a narrative text.

Then explain that a narrative text, as one of the text types we learn through the four stages, begins with building domain knowledge on the characteristics of a narrative text, followed by a model of narrative texts with their characteristics.

  • Pre-test

The writer gave the students a post-test (the procedure is the same as the pre-test) for 30 minutes to see the student's ability after giving. The data of the study grammatical error analysis in writing narrative text in second grade in SMP Negeri 35 Makassar obtained by the task given to students. To analyze the data, the writer followed the following steps to know the improvement of the students in the diagnostic test.

In this research, the writer considered only two aspects, grammar and vocabulary, to find out the students' writing competence using the Plan and Write strategy during research. Scoring student test scores based on the five aspects listed by Heaton in Sather (2015:36) such as the aspect of grammar, vocabulary, mechanics, language use and form organization. But in this research, the writer used two aspects namely: Grammar and Vocabulary to find out the achievement of the students in the written test.

After conducting the research in SMP Negeri 35 Makassar, the writer gave the results results based on every meeting that is done by the writer. The data was taken from the pre-test and post-test and analyzed to know whether there was a significant result between each meeting or not. To find the average score for each meeting in this research, the writer calculated the average score of the students' written test using the following formula.

The author calculated the rate percentage for each meeting to know the students' significant improvement for each test.

FINDING AND DISCUSSION

Findings

Mean Score Fair Source: Third grade students of SMP Negeri 35 Makassar The result gave the students scores in the mastery of English grammar, mechanics, language use, vocabulary and organization in the plan of discourse skill and writing strategy. In this case, students lack English grammar, mechanics, language use, vocabulary, and organization. Based on table 4.2 above, 5 students were classified as excellent, 16 students were classified as good and 4 students were classified as fair.

The table above shows that the classification of the results of all students based on the post-test of the experimental class. Table 4.1 and 4.2 above shows that there was a significant difference in students' scores in the pre-test and post-test. It is shown that the use of plan and writing strategy was effective in making a positive change in students' writing in the second grade of SMP Negeri 35 Makassar.

Table 4.3 above shows that in the pre-test, out of 25 students, 6 students (24%) were placed in the good category, 17 students (68%) in the good category, 2 students (8%) were placed in the poor category. . It can also be seen from the above table 4.3 that the result of the students' writing ability in the post-test. 5 students (20%) were placed in the excellent category, 16 students (64%) in the good category, 4 students (16%) in the good category, and none in the poor category.

Table 4.5 above shows that the mean score of the students in the pre-test was 62.54, while the mean score in the post-test increased to 81.56.

Discussion

Based on the result of the data analysis, it has been proven that using planning and writing strategy in teaching writing can bring great benefit to the students as they can have the focus to think, speak easily and express their ideas. in writing, their thinking and usage plan and writing is quite effective. The result of this research showed that the writing plan and writing strategy of students has been successfully improved in the eighth year students of SMP Negeri 35 Makassar. It is supported by the average score of the students on the pre-test was 62.64, which was classified as a fair category and the average score of the students on the post-test was 81.56, which was classified in the good category.

In this study, the writer has allowed the students to collaborate with their peers, so that the plan and writing strategy can be called successful in the learning process, especially in writing. Based on the result of the data, it was concluded that after the treatment by using the plan and write strategy, the result shows that there is an increased score at the post-test. On the other hand, the result of the post-test shows that the students have made significant progress, most of the students got a good grade.

In this case, that author concluded that there was a significant effect of plan and writing strategy on students. After writing analyze the result of the research pan and writing strategy is very good to be used in learning and teaching process to beloved students writing ability, especially of the students of SMP Negeri 35 Makassar, and planning and writing strategy is an effective for the teaching of English in the development of students' writing ability, planning and writing concise form of the essay is still show elementary figure of the original so use plan and writing strategy that is good and write. The English teacher of junior high school uses plan and writing strategy as material in teaching and learning process.

CONCLUSION AND SUGGESTION

Conclusion

The English teacher should be more creative and enrich his teaching strategy to improve the educational skills of the students. The future researcher is expected to implement with another form or another to develop students' writing ability. Using picture in descriptive text towards writing skills in second year students of SMPN 19 Moncongloe Maros.
