ASSESSMENT FINDINGS
Summary of Assessment Report of the RSPO Certification
Leaf sampling should be done once a year and soil sampling should be done every five years. According to the fertilizer recommendation program in 2019, it could be concluded that the calculation of fertilizer amounts was derived from leaf and soil analysis. Based on field observations for Sekunyir and Seruyan Estate, it was found that several strategies aimed at increasing soil fertility were implemented in both areas, such as fertilizers, by-products (EFB mulching, carafe cake and soil application), planting of legume cover crops (LCC) and selective weeding.
In addition to analysis of leaf and soil samples, the nutrient status of palms can also be accessed through visual assessment of palm vigor and field conditions by MRC agronomist and plantation advisor every six months. The main limitations of soil properties for oil palm cultivation were due to low fertility, soil drainage properties and soil erosion. Fertilization management through foliar and soil nutrient analysis, recommended by agronomist of the MRC team for the nutrient balance calculation method, maximizing the efficiency of fertilizer use (to determine the appropriate type of fertilizer, time of application and placement to elect).
Practices maintain the quality and availability of surface and ground water
To monitor the rate of erosion, the certificate holder measured and monitored it every month. To minimize soil erosion (surface runoff and drainage) in undulating areas, QBM has recommended some agronomic inputs such as keeping LCC or soft grasses, planting vertiver grass, selective weeding, terrace planting system , the sludge pit. Road maintenance activities consisted of manual maintenance such as cover crop clearing, surface repair through gravel, road grader and compaction.
According to the road maintenance data and map, it was informed that in 2019, SRE & SKE maintained the collector road for about 715 m and the main road for about 945 m. For soil and water conservation, planting of cover crops such as Mucuna bracteata has already been implemented on stunted areas. The HCV identification document shows that there is some river flow in estates such as Buaya River and Sei Kuning River, while another water source identified was a water reservoir.
Pests, diseases, weeds and invasive introduced species are effectively managed using appropriate Integrated Pest Management techniques
On the basis of observation to SRE and SKE, it is known that planned waste from agricultural chemical containers has been stored in Planlagt Affaldslager. Based on document verification, it was known whether the last medical test for pesticide applicator has been carried out in September 2019. Based on field observation to Sekunyir Factory, it was found that Hydrant, Fire Extinguisher, First Aid Kit were properly monitored and maintained.
Based on the interview with the superior, it is known that the superior understood the mechanism of first aid in the event of an accident at work. Based on field observations, the company has dispensaries and paramedics (doctors and nurses) who take care of the polyclinic. Based on the interview with the workers, it was explained that the workers already have an accident insurance card in the form of national social security (BPJS Ketenagakerjaan).
Waste is reduced, recycled, re-used and disposed of in an environmentally and socially responsible manner
724/TQEM-SPMS/09 point 5.7.2 on the zero-burn technique, which stated that land clearing should be carried out using mechanics and zero-burn methods (e.g. felling stands, chipping, stacking, etc. ). Based on Job Letter Agreement SPK No. 007/replanting/ITH-SRE/XII 2015 with replanting contractors i.e. PT Putra Sarana Transborneo, it was stated that land clearing in SRE and SKE was carried out through zero-burn method. Source of pollution/emission: replanting, application of fertilizer, pesticide used, transportation of FFB and CPO, operation of machinery and mill, and housing.
Waste/Pollution Management: Application of zero burn techniques in replanting activities, EFB applications, POME applications on property, Use of fiber and husk as boiler fuel. The realization of renewable energy is monitored in the monthly fiber and shell usage report. Monitoring for emissions and pollutants (air emission, ambient, odor, noise, vibration) from the property and the mill is done periodically every 6 months, covered in the RKL/RPL implementation report and periodically reported to the environmental agency.
Until audit ASA-1.3, it was known that there was no smallholder scheme in PT ITH. However, estate management mentioned that small farmer scheme will be proposed in 2033 during land title extension.
There are open and transparent methods for communication and consultation between growers and/or millers, local communities and other affected or interested parties
There is a mutually agreed and documented system for dealing with complaints and grievances, which is Implemented and accepted by all affected parties
- and 6.4.2
However, based on an interview with the Plantation Agency of Kotawaringin Barat Regency and the representative of Deranggga and Amin Jaya Village, it was known that there are no customary rights in PT ITH's operational areas. Based on the interview with the employees, it can be seen that the employee had a copy of the employment contract and understood it. Based on this interpretation, the auditor of the team considers that there are no violations of wage regulations and coercion to work.
Based on the interview with employees mentioned that the infrastructure provided by the company has been sufficient and feasible. Based on interview with trade union information obtained if there is no interference from CH to the election of employee representative in Bipartite 6.6.2. Based on observation of the employee list document and interviews with employees, it is revealed that the employees have different educational, ethnic and religious backgrounds.
Growers and millers regularly monitor and review their activities and develop and implement action plans that allow demonstrable continuous improvement in key operations
The results of document research and interviews with management, it is known that PT ITH does not use land reclamation after November 1, 2005. Document research, interview and field visit, it is known that CH has been active since 1992 and there is no new land reclamation after November 2005 takes place.

Applicability of the general chain of custody requirements for the supply chain .1
A site may use one (1) or a combination of supply chain models audited and validated by CB.
Documented procedures .1
Purchasing and goods in .1
The site legally owns all input material to be included in outsourced processes; The site has an agreement or contract with each contractor for the outsourced process through a signed and enforceable agreement with the contractor. The location has a documented control system with explicit procedures for the outsourced process that is communicated to the relevant contractor.
The site seeking or holding certification must also ensure (eg through contractual arrangements) that involved independent third parties provide appropriate access for duly accredited CBs to their respective operations, systems and any and all information when announced in advance. The website must record the names and contact details of all contractors used for processing or physical handling of RSPO certified oil palm products. At its next audit, the site must inform its CB of the names and contact details of any new contractor used for processing or physical handling of RSPO-certified oil palm products.
Registration of transactions .1
The supply site will ensure that the following minimum information for RSPO certified products is made available in document form: The name and address of the buyer. RSPO certified products from SKF were sold to various buyers as mentioned in indicator 5.4.1 CoC.

- Module D – CPO Mills: Identity Preserved Requirements
001/SCCS/SKF/2018 dated May 2, 2018. Clause 4.9 mentioned that, if available, a conversion rate should be used to provide a reliable estimate of the availability of the number of certified product outputs from the associated inputs. Based on review of notification and transaction report documents, it could be concluded that all submitted CSPO and CSPK were consistent with the identity-preserving supply chain model. Improving the effectiveness of the management system and its processes and resource requirements is already included in the management review.
Sekunyir Factory (SKF) was still implementing Identity Preserved (IP) supply chain model, with Certificate Code No. The estimated tonnage of CPO and PK products that can potentially be produced by the certified mill must be recorded by the certification body (CB) in the public summary of the P&C certification report. For an independent mill, the estimated tonnage of CPO and PK products must be recorded in the RSPO IT platform, supply chain certificate and public summary audit report.
