WHAT IS
SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE The simple present tense is
used to express events that happen regularly, routinely, or habitually in the present or an adverbial form of time that expresses an event
that takes place in the
present.

simple present tense is used when we use
1. Fakta
Ex: “ The sun rises from the east.”
( matahari terbit dari sebelah timur.]
2. Rutinitas/ kebiasaan
Ex : “we pray 5 times a day.” ( kita sholat 5 kali sehari.)
3. Perintah/ laranga
Ex: “ close the door!” ( tutup pintu itu !)
4. Jadwal tetap
Ex: “ The class starts at 8.15 in the morning.” ( kelas dimulai jam
8.15 pagi hari )

Types of simple present tense
Simple present tense is then divided into several types, namely positive, negative, and interrogative.
The formulas of the three types of simple present tense above are as follows:
- Positive: Subject + verb 1 + complement.
- Negative: Subject + don't/doesn't + verb 1 + complement.
- Ask: Do/does + subject + verb 1 + complement
