Supplemental Table S1. Odds ratio for hypertension incidence according to the quartiles of baseline ankle-brachial index.

Model 1 was adjusted for age, sex, and follow-up periods. Model 2 was adjusted for model 1 and baseline BMI, SBP, DBP, heart rate, non-HDL-cholesterol, HDL-cholesterol, triglyceride, fasting plasma glucose, current smoking, medication for dyslipidemia and diabetes mellitus. Model 3 was adjusted for model 2 along with eGFR.
