The Association was called to ord'"r, and our Brother ,,",uate Owl as Moderator, our Brother Jessie l{eed Clerk and Brother Ezekiel Ked Treasurer. The Associatian then adjourned for preaehillg by Bra An- drew Otter, and read the 9th verse ot' the 5th ohapter of Paul's letter 10

On motion the committee on Obituary made the following report:
Our sister Mary Lossie a member of Yellow Hill church, departed this life with full hopes of entering into the Kingdom of God, and her last words were as follows: "I am praying to God w:.thout ceasing;" and asked that all her pc'Ople to meet her in heaven.
Our brothel' l:avid Partridge, a membf'r of the Echota (or Bird- town) died with full hopes of th'~ future. OUf sisters Alie Bigmeat and Lilley Cloud, members of Mafidonia church, departed this life with full assurance of being saved.

Meeting was called to order by the Moderator. Devotional exercises by J obn Jackson. Movt:d and seconded to re:;.d tbe minutes of yester- day's proceedings. Minutes read and approved. On motion Andrew Otter was appointed a delegate to the Western Baptist Convention.
Moved and seconded to t.ake a. collection for tbe purpose of defraying the expenses of Andrew Otter as delegate to the Western Baptist Con·
vention, and t.he sum of $8.82 was realized. On motion the Association adjourned to hear Bro .. James Linf'r preac,h, and read Job S :28.
