Indonesia memiliki letak geografis yang sejajar dengan khatulistiwa, sehingga hal tersebut dapat dimanfaatkan dan dikembangkan dalam segi keilmuan mengenai astronomi. Ketertarikan masyarakat terhadap ilmu atronomi cukup tinggi, tetapi kurangnya sarana untuk mengetahui ilmu astronomi dari hal yang paling dasar.
Kota Bandung merupakan salah satu kota di Indonesia yang berstatus sebagai Ibu Kota Provinsi Jawa Barat yang sering dijadikan destinasi wisata masyarakat Indonesia. Hal ini dapat terjadi karena tersedianya berbagai fasilitas wisata yang beragam sehingga Kota Bandung terus mengalami kenaikan jumlah wisatawan local maupun mancanegara setiap tahunnya. Recreation Park menjadi tempat wisata utama karena dapat menghimpun semua segmentasi pengunjung sehingga selalu memiliki banyak peminat. Kondisi tersebut mendorong terciptanya taman rekreasi dan pengembangan ilmu astronomi dalam satu tempat melalui pendekatan asritektur futuristik. Arsitektur futuristik yang selalu mengarah ke masa depan sehingga berbanding lurus dengan ilmu astronomi yang berkaitan degan teknologi canggih.

Indonesia has a geographical location that is parallel to the equator, so that it can be utilized and developed in scientific terms on astronomy. Public interest in the science of atronomy is quite high, but the lack of means to know astronomy from the most basic things. Bandung City is one of the cities in Indonesia with the status of the Capital of West Java Province which is often used as a tourist destination for Indonesian people. This happens because of the availability of various tourist facilities so that the City of Bandung continues to experience an increase in the number of local and foreign tourists each year. Recreation Park is a major tourist place because it can gather all segmentation of visitors so that it always has a lot of enthusiasts. These conditions encourage the creation of recreational parks and the development of astronomy in one place through a futuristic architectural approach. Futuristic architecture that always leads to the future so that it is directly proportional to astronomy related to advanced technology.
