This species can be distinguished from all others by the comparable length of the first funicular joint. Head transverse, wider than thorax; seen from front five-sevenths as long as broad and very strongly depressed; scape, except base, cupreous, long, slender, and extending to medianocellus; pedicel cupreous, the rest of the flagellum brown; pedicel almost as long as first and second cable joints, but not as long as wide; the first link of the funicular approx. half of the second, the other joints gradually grow wider towards the tip; vertex very rugose; ocelli pink, eyes red. Thoracic dorsum minutely reticular rugose; parapsidal furrows distinct and green; sculpture of scutellum longitudinally rugose, the transverse furrow only indicated by a less deeply sculptured apex; propodeum.
