Workshop/training is one of the factors that influence the teacher's perception of the textbook. Based on the interview results, each teacher has different perceptions of the use of the textbook. Based on the results of interviews related to one of the factors influencing the use of textbook in the situation aspect, T1 and T2 have different perceptions.

Based on the results of the questionnaire, each teacher has different perceptions regarding the use of the textbook. Based on the results of a questionnaire related to one of the factors influencing the use of the text in terms of personal experience, T1 and T2 have different backgrounds. Based on the results of the interviews and questionnaires, it can be concluded that the teacher positively perceives the use of the textbook.

Okeeffe (2013) said that the textbook is something that comes from the curriculum and must be studied by the students because it aims to help the students in learning activities. The textbook is a basic teaching material that contains knowledge standards to achieve educational goals according to the curriculum. So it can be concluded that the textbook is a learning resource that is organized based on a curriculum that aims to help teachers and students support learning activities.

So, in its use, the textbook can be a guide that adapts to the needs of students and teachers and subjects according to the current curriculum. Teachers' perception of the textbook can be interpreted by the way the teacher uses the textbook (Ahmadi & Derakhshan, 2016). This is characterized by the many advantages that the textbook contains and not by the disadvantages.

Previous Related Studies

Not only that, but this study also used a questionnaire as a research tool to obtain data in the study. This study aims to investigate teacher perceptions in the use of textbooks and find out teacher barriers in the selection and adaptation of English textbooks in EFL classes. The results of this study indicate that teachers at MAN 3 Kota Banda Aceh perceive the textbook positively.

This study is similar to the research conducted by the researcher, both studies examined teachers' perceptions of the use of textbooks in teaching English. The purpose of this study is to find out teachers' perceptions of the use of technology in teaching English at MAN 1 Muaro Jambi. FINDINGS AND DISCUSSIONS

Findings

According to T1 and T2, this book presents illustrations that are simple, attractive and consistent with the content of the book. This section consists of 3 questions, namely number 1-3, the researcher wants to find out the factors that influence the teacher's perception of the use of textbook related to aspects of personal experience. This section consists of 2 questions, namely number 1-2, the researcher wants to find out the factors that influence the teacher's perception of the use of textbook related to aspects of needs.

This section consists of 3 questions, namely numbers 1-3, the researcher wants to find out the factors that influence the teacher's perception of the use of the textbook in relation to the aspects of the students. Based on the results of the interviews related to one of the factors influencing the use of books in terms of references, T1 and T2 both use other additional study references.

The results of the questionnaire show that T1 and T2 have a positive perception that this book is in line with the existing curriculum in this school and claim that this book presents learning materials that are logical and systematic. T2 revealed a positive perception that the material in this book was indeed in line with students' needs, but the explanation of the material was not detailed enough. However, T2 revealed a negative perception that all the material in this book is not in line with today's developments.

Does this book contain illustrations that are clear, simple, attractive, and consistent with the contents of the book? The results of the questionnaire show that T1 and T2 have a positive perception that the textbook has a pleasant illustrative appearance. T1 and T2 also said that the textbook contained illustrations that were clear, simple, attractive and consistent with the content of the book.

The results of the questionnaire show that T1 and T2 have a positive perception that this textbook presents an attractive cover. Regarding the appropriateness of the size of the textbook to the needs of the students, T1 and T2 have a positive opinion that this textbook is in line with the needs of the students. Based on the results of the questionnaire, which refers to one of the factors influencing the use of books from the point of view of references, T1 and T2 use additional learning references in addition to the textbook.

Menurut ibu apakah buku ini sesuai dengan kurikulum di sekolah ini bu?” R : “Lantas, untuk struktur kalimat atau bahasa dalam buku ini sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan siswa atau bagaimana Bu?”.

R : “Baik bu, kira-kira latihan yang ada di buku ini bisa menguji siswa dalam berkomunikasi atau tidak bu?”. R : “Baik bu, menurut ukurannya apakah buku ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa atau tidak?” R : “Untuk pertanyaan selanjutnya, apakah buku ini sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa atau tidak Bu?”

R : “Nah bu, buku ini sudah sesuai dengan kurikulum yang ada di sekolah ini bukan bu?”. R: “Begitu ya Bu, menurut Ibu apakah bahan ajar yang ada di buku ini sudah sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan siswa?” R : “Oke bu, soalnya latihan selanjutnya di buku ini sesuai kemampuan siswa atau gimana?”.

R : “Begitu ya Bu, apakah siswa suka kalau menggunakan buku ini atau tidak Bu?”. R: “Begitu ya Bu, apakah menurut Ibu materi dalam buku ini sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa?” R: Dan selanjutnya apakah buku ini sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan siswanya bu?

R : “Selanjutnya menurut Bu Febri apakah buku ini sesuai dengan kemampuan atau keterampilan siswa ya Bu?”

CONCLUSIONS

Apakah materi dalam buku ini up to date dan sesuai dengan perkembangan saat ini? Apakah struktur bahasa atau kalimat dalam buku ini sesuai dengan tingkat kemampuan siswa dan sesuai dengan perkembangan pengetahuan siswa? Apakah latihan-latihan dalam buku ini dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa dan menguji gagasan utama dari setiap materi?

Apakah kegiatan praktik dalam buku ini disajikan secara realistis dan dapatkah komunikasi siswa berkembang?

R : Menurut Ibu Eva, apakah buku ini menyajikan bahan ajar yang logis dan sistematis atau tidak Bu? Untuk selanjutnya, menurut Bu Eva, kosakata dalam buku ini tergolong sederhana/sederhana atau bahkan kompleks, Bu?”. Untuk selanjutnya terkait dengan latihan yang ada di buku ini apakah bisa menambah pemahaman dan menguji siswa pada materi yang ada atau tidak bu?”

R : “Oke bu, untuk yang lain menurut Bu Eva, buku ini menyajikan gambaran yang menyenangkan bukan bu?”. Soal ilustrasi, terutama gambar-gambar di buku ini, apakah masih jelas atau tidak Bu, dan apakah bisa menambah pemahaman siswa, Bu?” R : “Nah bu, kira-kira tulisan dan gambar di buku ini bisa menarik perhatian pembaca atau tidak bu?”.

R : “Oke bu, menurut bu Febri, buku ini menyajikan materi pembelajaran yang logis dan sistematis bu?”. R: “Baik bu, jadi dari segi struktur bahasa atau kalimat dalam buku ini sudah sesuai dengan kemampuan siswa?” R : “Untuk selanjutnya dari segi ilustrasi buku menurut mbak Febri buku ini memberikan tampilan yang menyenangkan atau bagaimana bu?”.

R : “Tentang ilustrasi di buku ini, apakah disajikan dengan jelas dan apakah bisa menambah pemahaman siswa atau tidak Bu?” R : “Untuk selanjutnya, menurut Bu Febri, buku ini menawarkan ilustrasi yang sederhana, lalu menarik dan sesuai dengan materinya Bu?” R : “Untuk yang berikutnya, dari segi ukuran buku menurut ibu apakah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa atau tidak bu?”

R : “Oke bu, untuk selanjutnya dari segi kebutuhan kira-kira apakah buku ini sudah sesuai dengan kebutuhan siswa atau belum?”
