ABSTRACT
TECHNOLOGY ACCEPTANCE MODEL’S IMPACT TOWARDS THE WORKING PERFORMANCE OF THE HOTEL STAFF
By Robbie Aryadi
Munawaroh, S.E., M.M., Advisor Swiss German University
Technology is an ever-evolving aspect of our modern day lives that we as a species should come to terms with, humans in this case employees may feel some difficulty in using new technology, this is where the Technology Acceptance Model comes in. TAM is a theory created for the sole purpose of modeling how users come to accept and use a technology.
Employees are commonly trained and adapt towards a new working environment in the hope that they maintain they’re occupational status as well as provide a higher degree of service. This effort given by the employees is known as Work performance/ Job performance. The purpose of this research is to learn whether or not TAM has a potentially positive effect towards Working performance. With the help of 110 respondents and processing their data using the SPSS, the hypothesis results found that there was in fact a correlation between TAM which does positively impact work performance but that the correlation is considered weak. The hotel system making your own work more effective is the strongest influence towards the work performance coming from TAM, whilst the features in hotel system is very familiar when using it for the first time has the least influence on work performance
Keywords: Technology Acceptance model (TAM), Work performance, Job performance

ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
I would like to express my sincerest gratitude towards my family for giving me the emotional support and love that any son could ever have, I would also like to make special mention to my mother and father, my mother who saw through the worst in me and loved me nonetheless and my father for always remaining firm but fair to me.
I would also like to give my express gratitude towards Ms. Munawaroh who acted as my advisor but also one of the best teachers I have ever had, and would like to acknowledge that there would be no way this thesis would have been finished if not for her involvement.
Thank you also to Ms. Gemala, Mr. Esa, Ibu Semma, Chef Rano, and Pak Are, although they did not contribute directly as my advisors, I am deeply grateful for all of the constructive criticisms and help they have given me.
