Because of his devotion to that cause, And because of our sincere desire to fulfill. In the harmonious education of body and mind, this Union recognizes one of the most important prerequisites for establishing, preserving and perfecting a true democracy.

Exceptionally good guarding by Wolfe and Spitzer and good shooting by our forwards put our team ahead and the first half ended 13-4 in our favor. In the second half, the general superiority of the N ormalites, together with their good shooting ability, put our team so far ahead that the Pharmacists had no chance of beating them. In the return game with New Augusta, our boys tied and beat them with a score of 38-16.

Our team played a very fast game and the New Augustans were stunned by their smart play. In the second half our boys relaxed a bit and scored 14 to the New Augustans' 6 points. In the last two minutes of play, they made the decisive shot and beat us with the score of 33-31.

The Danville boys got off to a flying start scoring two baskets before our team started. Chris opened the scoring for our team by putting one through the net and Brida followed it up with four more goals as our team left the Central boys far behind. Our team continued to play well in the second half, but a close pass by Spitzer and Wolfe prevented our opponents from scoring.

Senior-Frosh Basketball

The boxing class has been the source of much joy and development. Out of a class that had practically no knowledge of the technique of boxing, a very quick and clever class of boxers was developed. Lipps, who instructed the boys, made the process very thorough, and one that aroused great interest among the students.

The course was very interesting and the class made rapid progress with the different holds and breaks. The high point of the course was reached on the last meeting day of the class, when the champions were crowned through a series of hotly contested matches.

The first game was played with the Hoo ier girls in their gymnasium, on farch 1. The Airls played a good game, but due to lack of practice they could not beat their opponents. The score was tied throughout the game, and the great interest was reflected in the cheers and applause of those on the sidelines.

The quick passing and accurate shooting of Georgia Veatch and Dorothy Troutman resulted in this overwhelming score. The fast passing and excellent passing made this by far the best match of the season. In the forward area, Troutman's expert passing and Veatch's deadly burst kept the ball out of Butler's hands.

The K ormal spirit, as exhibited by the cheering of the loyal Normalites on the sidelines, made an area to make the game another victory for Normal. The freshmen played a wonderful game, and from their excellent work we have reason to hope that they will be the means of making next year's team one more than our team of this year has been. The freshmen were in the lead throughout the 0ame, and when the whistle was blown, at the end of the game, the core.

Summer Camp at Elkhart- · '21

One day the following announcement appeared on the bulletin board: "A Wedding of the South Sea Isles." It turned out to be an original form of entertainment, in which all the men were dressed in barbaric attire, consisting of everything from basins and whisk brooms to talk of wheat from the neighboring countries. The scene was set in a field with no other light than that of the big moon and the campfire. The guests were then invited to the wedding feast, which consisted of marshmallows roasted in a fire, above which hung a stuffed image representing the offering for the wedding.

To be outdone by the men, the girls planned a dance the following week, which was held in one of the gymnasiums decorated with branches and brightly colored butterflies. After a lovely walk through beautiful country we reached the hotel, where lunch was served on the veranda overlooking the lake. After exploring the area and dancing in the pavilion, we walk back to Elkhart in the moonlight.

When everyone was tired, we drove home in the moonlight singing. During another week stunt night was designated, at which time each tent competed with the others in presenting original stunts. The last event was an exhibition presented by all the students of the camp at Elkhart Village.

The Shubert-Murat management wishes to announce the opening of the summer opening hours, which will speak place l\'[ay 1. We are very proud to have Miss Schneberger appear in her former college town, and we trust that she will receive a friendly reception.

Pierson has announced that he will start producing chicken feed in the near future. The exact reason for his journey is not widely understood, but we understand that he sets out to find the creator of this journey. Ruth Males Walk r will be the keynote speaker and she will speak on “Preparation of Girls fr Futur J_,ife as Suffragettes.”

Life at the Phi Epsilon Kappa Fraternity House

Miss Hoterey (inspecting lockers): "There can't be two girls in the same locker together." Dean Rath (explaining the program to freshmen before the last week of school): "After your exams in the morning you have to do a "workout" on the floor in the back. If you have strength to rival Sampson's, always use a gentle and kind hand;

If you have a vision of the glories of the wide world, though you never stray beyond your native land;. If you can give and give and still keep on giving, and not miss an iota of it all;. If you can mother countless multitudes of children, Though you never call a single one your own;.

If you sympathize with weak human nature, But for yourself always keep the strict rules of life; If you can do that, your country needs you. Scherer (after being interrupted a few times by some noisy women): "If you would like to leave the room - go ahead. The English we get from the French of Annabel Weinsheimer: "I intend to eat some cherries and strawberries front panel.".

I would like to thank you for the kind offer you make therein and for the two issues of the "Mind and Body" that I have already received. 34;While I was teaching, I felt like I had to have the little magazine because it brought me so much inspiration and practical help. I always felt like I got more out of it than any other magazine of a professional nature I've ever seen.

34;I can give you no better proof of the value which the publication has been to me as a work of reference than to tell you that I have kept all my papers very carefully, and if you were to see my bookshelves you would see a fine-looking row of parts, entitled 'Mind and Body'. As a reference work I found them more useful than many books that would cost many times the subscription price of 'Mind and Body'. I have found the information in the many articles on all phases of the work very useful when preparing small lectures or writing articles, as the ideas in 'Mind and Body' are always the result of the latest research by the key experts. people of the profession. 34;I hope that it can increasingly mean to those in the profession what it has meant to me in terms of practical help and inspiration. It has gotten better every year, and I think it will continue to get better and better in the future.

34;I want to say that I have not made any statement to you that I would not gladly, given the opportunity, make to any prospective or regular subscriber.
