The objectives of this research were to find out the impact of grouping techniques on the word mastery of Learning Express (LEX) alumni in the Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The sample of this research was Learning Express Alumni in Muhammadiyah University of Makassar consisting of 10 students.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh teknik pengelompokan terhadap kosakata alumni Learning Express (LEX) Universitas Muhammadiyah Makassar. According to previous research, the researcher shows that the cluster approach can have an effect on the vocabulary of students, especially those who participated in the Learning Express (LEX) of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. What is the impact of the cluster technique on word mastery of Learning Express (LEX) alumni. The aim of this study is to investigate whether or not the cluster approach has an effect on the vocabulary knowledge of students.
The aim of this study was to describe how the grouping approach can be used to improve students' speaking ability and to investigate whether the grouping technique can do this. Based on the definition given above, the researcher can conclude that the clustering approach is a new method which. One of the processes of Design Thinking, the grouping technique used in the LEX program, is the subject of this study.
Then the researcher will give a questionnaire about the grouping technique in Learning express and the mastery of the alumni vocabulary. Finally, the researcher will analyze the effect of the grouping technique on the Learning Express Alumni's Vocabulary Mastery.

The sample of the study is the students who took the Express Learning (LEX) at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar. The researcher used purposive sampling to select students who had joined Learning Express and enrolled at Muhammadiyah University of Makassar.

Data Collection Technique
Prior to distributing the questionnaire via Google Form, the researcher briefly described and implemented the questionnaire. After the questionnaire was presented to the respondents, the researcher was informed about its purpose.
Data Analysis Technique
This chapter is divided into two parts, the first of which is the findings section and the second is the discussion section. The results of the research provide an answer to the research question regarding the effect of the grouping approach on word mastery.
