Let's Talk!
Let's Talk is a Counseling Services program designed to provide informal walk-in consultations with counselors at Bartlett Hall, in the Residence Life office suite from 11 A.M.-Noon on Mondays and 1-3 P.M. on Wednesdays.
Let's Talk is considered different from counseling and is not a "clinical" service. We call it "informal consultation" or "consultation and support." There is no paperwork to fill out, no formal intake, no appointment, and no fee. Students are encouraged to drop by and talk about whatever is important to them. They are also allowed to meet anonymously if they prefer. Meetings have no set time length.

SPCA's Pages for Paws Book Sale
The SPCA Serving Allegany County is holding its Annual Pages for Paws Book Sale & Stearns Chicken BBQ this weekend on Saturday, April 20 from 9 a.m. - 2 p.m. at the American Legion, 23 Jefferson St., Wellsville. We are still accepting and are in need of donations of gently used books and baked goods.
Every year we sell out of our Stearns Chicken BBQ tickets and we still have some tickets left to sell this week and they are going fast! Tickets are pre-sale only for $8 and are available at First Citizens Community Bank, Hamilton 's Shoes, Collins Automotive, T-N-T Gym, and at the shelter.
We have done something new this year and we have added to the menu a vegetarian dinner which is also $8. Pick-up of the Chicken BBQ or vegetarian dinner is from Noon - 2 p.m. on April 20.
In the past, friends of the SPCA kindly donated a variety of books. This overwhelming generosity has made the Pages for Paws book sale a success in raising much needed funds to care for the animals.
We have a great selection of books, such as children's books, gardening, romance, fiction & non- fiction....there is something for everyone!
If you love to read and would like to help support the shelter animals, please stop by from 9am - 2pm to pick from a wide variety of gently used books, buy delicious baked goods or if you are feeling lucky you can purchase some raffle tickets!
We will also have SPCA t-shirts, magnets and other goodies available, such as home made pet treats!!
And...If you can't make it to the Pages for Paws book sale - you can still help the SPCA by donating some books or baked goods for the sale this week.
Anyone interested in donating any baked goods are asked to contact the shelter at (585) 593-2200.
Books may be dropped off at the SPCA shelter, located on Route 19 South in Wellsville, daily between Noon and 4 P.M. Books can also be dropped off at other convenient locations in Wellsville: First Citizens Community Bank or T-N-T Gym. For additional information, contact the shelter at (585) 593- 2200 or visit us online at www.SPCAallegany.org or join our Facebook fan club page for updates.
