4 Subject aims/Content
This course contains the concepts of databases and geographic information systems; Spatial Analysis and Modelling; Digital Elevation Model (DEM), Model; Simulation and Integration with Spatial Information Systems; GPS and data acquisition; Hydrological modelling for watershed management of water resources; GIS and Natural Resources Management
5 Teaching methods 1. Simulation 2. Case study
3. Collaborative learning 4. Cooperative learning 5. Project-based learning 6 Assessment Methods
A. Evaluation System for Students
The evaluation system carried out in the implementation of spatial technology courses aims to determine the absorption of knowledge that has been obtained by students which is carried out by conducting several evaluation methods, namely:
a. Exams consist of midterm exam and final exam b. Tasks
c. Quiz
The scoring system used is:
a. Exams consist of midterm exam (35%) and final exam (35%) b. Tasks (20%)
c. Quiz (5%)
B. Evaluation System for Lecturers
In addition to knowing the level of absorption of student knowledge, evaluation is also carried out on lecturers for the entire series of learning activities
provided. The evaluation was carried out by distributing questionnaires to student participants at the end of the exam. The contents of the questionnaire cover various aspects of learning activities which are described as follows:
a. Lecture materials b. Learning method
c. Mastery of the material by the lecturer d. Lecture facilities
e. Tasks (materials, time and assistance) f. Comments and suggestions
