The objective of the study was to determine the effects of water addition and steaming duration on starch composition of wheat pollard including starch, amylose, amylopectin and starch resistant. Water was added towheat pollard (0, 30 and 60%) and autoclaved at 121 C (15 and 30 min) afterward. The pollard then was oven-dry at 70 C. The study used a complete randomized design of 3x2 factorial with 3 replications. The addition of water and steaming duration showed a very significant (p< 0.001) impact on the amylose and starch …

EDITORIAL
Reaktor has age 20 years. It was publish articles in Indonesia. So, since Volume 17 No. 4, December 2017, Reaktor will publish articles in English language. The article that publish was improve in quality. Authors were publish articles that wrote from disertation or tesis research, research grant that funded by Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education of Republic Indonesia.
Reaktor Vol. 17 No. 4, December 2017 was publishing articles amounts 9 papers. The articles were research in waste water treatment, food technology, kinetic reaction, pyrolisis of coal, natural product, material technology and also corrosion protection. The articles shown state of the art. We hope Reaktor can be contribute in development in chemical engineering. .
In this issues, Reaktor publish selected paper Seminar Nasional Integrasi Proses that conducted by Engineering Faculty of Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University.
