The use of basic offline YouTube in improving students' ability in writing narrative text (A pre-experimental research on seventh grade students in SMPN 5 Enrekang). Research findings showed that the achievement of seventh grade students of SMPN 5 Enrekang improved after using youtube offline. Based on the research findings, the researcher concluded that learning English using basic offline youtube can improve students' English writing.

Puspitasari (2007) said in her research that the students' problems are encountered by the students in the writing class for the narrative text as the students did not know about narrative text before. It shows that the use of animation films is effective in improving the students writing narrative texts. Riska (2014) stated in her research that the use of music video is significant in improving the students' ability to write an essay.
Using music video can improve students' ability to write an essay with content and organization in an essay. Meanwhile, the researcher wants to elaborate students' creativity in writing narrative text by using youtube offline (inspirational video) as a media in teaching English. Therefore, the researcher proposes a research proposal entitled, "Using YouTube Offline in Improving Students' Ability in Writing Narrative Texts."
For the student, this research was expected to recognize the students' achievement in learning English, especially in teaching writing. After the organization, the researcher explained the writing to the students through basic offline YouTube and the students were given the written text.

Conceptual Framework
As a short concluding text, the researcher concludes that using a video in learning activities is a good media to make a clear material. In addition, the use of video can make learning activities interesting that can lead to motivation to learn and focus students' attention on the topic discussed in the learning activities. The researcher used video inspiration to make students have high motivation and enjoy the teaching process which is easy and the purpose of teaching can especially improve students' writing ability.
Process: it refers to the activities during the teaching and learning process using basic youtube offline as a teaching medium. Output : as the output of the process, it refers to the effectiveness of teaching writing, especially writing skills using basic youtube offline. Null Hypothesis ( ) = There is no significant improvement in using basic youtube offline to teach writing to seventh grade students in SMPN 5 Enrekang.
Alternative Hypothesis ( ) = There is a significant improvement in the use of basic youtube offline in teaching writing to the seventh grade students of SMPN 5 Enrekang.

The researcher used Basic Youtube offline in the treatment to see the improvement of the students in Writing and there was improvement in the pre-test in the. Based on table 4.1, it results that the average content score of the students in the pre-test was 40 and the average score of the students in the post-test was 69.69. After the researcher gave the pre-test and post-test, there was improvement in the students' writing skills in terms of organization.
This was indicated by the significant difference between the students' scores before and after the test. Table. 4.3 The average score of the student's writing ability in terms of organization in the pre-test and after the test. Based on table 4.3, the average score of students' organization on the pretest was 45.3, and the average score of students on the posttest was 67.42.
The distribution of frequency and percentage score of students' writing ability in terms of organization in pre- and post-test. It meant that there was a significant difference between the students writing a narrative text before and after the researcher used Basic YouTube. The description of the collected data on writing skills in terms of content and organization showed that the writing skills of the students had improved both in terms of content and organisation.
Based on the findings, the implementation of Basic Youtube Offline made the students' average score higher in writing. Regarding the content of the pre-test, the students did not know how to start the paragraph. After the students were given treatment using basic YouTube offline, the students' average score on the post-test showed an improvement.
In terms of organization in the pre-test, students found it difficult to arrange a good narrative paragraph. After the students had treated using basic youtube offline, the average score of the students on the post test showed an improvement. Based on the data, it can be concluded that there was significant improvement in students' writing ability in terms of content and organization by using Basic Youtube Offline in seventh grade students of SMPN 5 Enrekang.

This was shown by the average score of the students in the pre- and post-test and also by the percentage of improvement. The mean score and standard deviation of the student's writing skills in terms of content in the pre- and post-test. It can be seen that the average substantive score was higher in the post-test than in the pre-test.
The graphic above showed that the result of pre-test and post-test had an improvement which was 74.22%. The data showed that using Basic Youtube Offline in writing could improve students' written narrative paragraphs in terms of content.
The Development of Students’ writing skill Viewed From
It can be seen that the average score for organization was higher in the pre-test than in the post-test. The chart above showed that the pre- and post-test result showed an improvement of 48.83%. The data showed that using Basic YouTube Offline in writing could improve students' writing of narrative paragraphs from within the content.

In the first meeting in pre-test, the researcher found that most of the students were still difficult to write, they were still confused what they wanted to write in the paper. For example, when the students started writing, they used "three children school bicycle to school" in their writing, they should use "there are three students' who use bicycle to school" in the sentence. This indicated a significant improvement from the pre-test to post-test mean score as the percentage improvement was 74.22%.
In the first meeting when the researcher gave a pre-test, the researcher found that most of the students failed to create good narrative text because they could not generate ideas effectively, so their ideas were still confused. It showed a significant improvement from the mean pre-test to post-test score as the percentage of improvement was 48.83%. The t-test significance data depicted that most students were successful in improving their narrative text writing scores in terms of content and organization using Basic Youtube Offline.
Based on the description of the previous chapter, the author would like to conclude that using simple YouTube offline was effective in improving the writing skills of the seventh grade students of SMPN 5 Enrekang. This is evidenced by the performance of the students in terms of writing skills in terms of content where the mean score for the pre-test is 40 and the mean score for the post-test is 69.69. And the performance of the students on the area of writing skills in terms of organization, where the pre-test main score is 45.3 and the post-test average score is 67.42.
In order to improve the English writing ability, the teachers of English at SMPN 5 Enrekang should use the basic YouTube offline as a medium. Teachers should guide and motivate students to increase their interest in learning through writing to improve and use basic YouTube. The next researcher should use Basic Youtube Offline as a medium to improve students' writing ability.
We suggest the next researcher to use Basic Youtube offline using another technique in teaching writing.
