Based on the importance of the research, the researcher will focus on teaching students speaking skills with TED Talks.

One of the features in the TED Talks app is the ability to interact with public speaking English learners from around the world, so they can practice English together, starting with how to communicate, express thoughts, give presentations, and so on, so so that the audience can see how they are drawn into the debate being discussed. Therefore, TED Talks is one of the ICT tools that can be effectively used to promote speaking skills. Takaesu (2017) cited a research titled “TED Talks as an extensive listening resource for EAP students” that TED (Technology, Entertainment and Design) Talks are used as an extensive listening material.
According to Carolyn (2014), listening task using TED Talks designed for low intermediate proficiency English for Academic Purpose students to use a metacognitive pedagogical sequence. In her research, the result showed that teaching public speaking by exploring the TED Talks style gives effect to the public speaking students. Based on the previous study above, the similarities between that previous related research and this research is the use of TED Talks method in teaching.
Moreover, the differences between the previous and the present research are the way of discussion such as the number of students, the topic and the place in the discussion about TED Talks will be applied. The current topic in this research will be discussed using TED Talks based on the topic given by the researcher. In this TED Talks "What makes you special?" the speaker tells about her experiences leading up to being a journalist.
In this research, based on the conceptual framework above, the researcher will use TED Talks as a problem solver to help the students improve their speaking skills. In the conceptual framework, the student will practice their speaking skills using TED talks to measure the students' accuracy and fluency in speaking.

The researcher wants to know the improvements in the learning process of the students by using TED Talks. The following table shows the result of the students speaking accurately during the pre- and post-test using TED Talks video. To clearly see the result of the students speaking accurately, the following diagram can be presented.
The following table showed the result of students' speaking fluency in pre-test and post-test using TED Talks video. From the above table, students' scores improved after using TED Talks video in the teaching and learning process. The students' percentage of improvement between pre- and post-test is 6.52% for the smoothness period.
To clearly see the result of students' fluency can be presented as the following chart. It was shown that there was a significant difference between the pre-test and post-test scores of the students using the TED Talks video. So, there is an improvement in students' speaking ability in accuracy and fluency by using TED Talks video.
The result of this research showed that using the TED Talks video improved students' speaking skills in terms of accuracy (vocabulary) and fluency (fluency). He showed that using the TED Talks video to improve students' speaking skills in terms of vocabulary was successful.
FINDING AND DISCUSSIONS
Findings
Before the treatment, the pre-test was done and after the treatment, the post-test was done. The table above shows that, the students' results improved after using the TED Talks video in the teaching and learning process. Based on the difference from the average score that students get, in terms of vocabulary, students show improvement from pre-test to post-test where the growth of students has increased by 5.10%.
This means that the students' scores and percentages in the pretest were still good because half of the students get good scores. Based on Figure 4.2 above showed that during the vocabulary period students showed a significant increase in pre-test and post-test. In the pre-test the students were classified in 3 categories, where no student was classified in the excellent category, while in the post-test it had shown that 4 students were categorized in the excellent score.
It increased to 9 students getting a very good score, where in the pre-test only 4 students got a very good score. This means that the students' scores and percentages in the pretest are still average, because half of the students get a good and fairly good score. Based on Figure 4.4 above showed that during the smoothness period students showed a significant increase in pre-test and post-test.
In pre-test students were classified in 3 categories where only 6 students were classified in the very good category while in the post-test it increased in 10 students were categorized in very good scores. Also in the pre-test as many as 9 students were categorized as good and 9 students were categorized in fairly good score while in the post-test it showed that there were no more students who were categorized as fairly good where 4 students could be categorized as excellent score.
Discussions
In the pre-test, the researcher used TED Talks video as a media and asked the students to watch the video approximately at least 3 times and more. It was held in four meetings to measure students' fluency after using TED Talks video in learning process. The students' accuracy in terms of vocabulary improved, this was proven by seeing that the students' rate percentage in pre-test was students categorized as good, fairly good and in post-test increased excellent and more than half of students categorized as very good in post test.
The students' speaking skills in terms of fluency improved, as shown by the percentage of students assessed in the pre-test with students categorized as good, while half of the students were categorized as fairly good. The researcher suggested that English teachers use the TED Talks video as one of the media in the teaching process, especially when teaching speaking, because. The researcher suggested that students should learn English more often and more diligently by using TED Talks video as it has benefits that can improve their speaking skills in terms of accuracy and fluency.
