Berdasarkan hasil analisis, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan channel YouTube Baby Nenes meningkatkan kosakata siswa sampai kelas VII MTs Muallimin Muhammadiyah Makassar. Pemanfaatan channel youtube Baby Nenes untuk meningkatkan kosakata siswa (penelitian pra eksperimen di Kelas VII MT Muallimin Muhammadiyah Makassar). Berdasarkan analisis hasil, peneliti menyimpulkan bahwa penggunaan channel YouTube Baby Nenes meningkatkan kosakata siswa kelas VII MTs Muallimin Muhammadiyah Makassar.

Background

How a teacher uses media in the teaching and learning process in the classroom affects the quality of learning itself. Based on the above question, this study tries to answer the question related to the implementation of YouTube in vocabulary teaching. In addition, the researcher wants to present students with an interesting learning medium for teaching vocabulary.

Based on the research background, research questions and its objectives above, in improving students' vocabulary through the use of Baby Nenes Youtube channel in English Language Teaching (ELT), there are three things that should be considered in vocabulary learning , they are meaning, form and function. However, among those aspects in vocabulary learning, this research focused on aspects of lexical meaning, in terms of lexical meaning in English words found in the noun forms of words, especially in the category house in the article, fruits and vegetables and animals.

Previews Related Research Finding

The result of the study is that the average score of English verbs in the experimental class (the students taught using cartoon films) is 74.23, and the average score of English verbs in the control class (the students taught using non-cartoon films) is 70.4. To different from these studies, this research will focus on the use of Baby Nenes videos. Therefore, the use of Youtube media to learn English is very useful and helps students to be more happy in the classroom.

Youtube is a multidimensional source that offers videos in all areas of knowledge that can be easily accessed. Studies have also investigated how YouTube can be part of a learning system to support independent learning and language learning.

The experimental group students in this study are explicitly shown the Baby Nenes Youtube video to try to achieve better vocabulary learning.

By calculating the frequency and percentage of students' score rules, the researcher uses the statistical software IBM SPSS 25 for Windows. By calculating the collection data from the students in the test response, the researcher uses the statistical software IBM SPSS 25 for Windows. To find the standard deviation of students' vocabulary mastery, the researcher uses the statistical software IBM SPSS 25 for Windows.

To discover the students' improvement, the researcher used IBM SPSS 25 statistical software for Windows. Determine the significant difference between the pre-test and post-test score using IBM SPSS 25 statistical software for Windows. The findings of the study include the description of the improvement of students' vocabulary and the presentation of the progress or development of the students via Baby Nenes YouTube videos (pre-test and post-test).

Based on the elaboration above, it could be concluded that the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected while the alternative hypothesis was accepted. In other words, there was a significant difference in students' vocabulary before and after using Baby Nene's Youtube videos by 7th grade students at MT's Muallimin Muhamadiyah.

Discussion

After the use of video in the learning process of teaching, there was a significant improvement in the direction of vocabulary competence and the classroom situation, which means that the use of video in teaching vocabulary is an effective medium for enriching students' vocabulary, and also the change of classroom conditions has become more favorable for the process teaching and learning. . Youtube videos selected for use in language classrooms should be based on certain criteria, including the students' level of knowledge, their cultural context and the objectives of the lesson. Based on the results, the used Baby Nenes Youtube videos as teaching media were better than before which treated the students.

The study using Baby Nenes YouTube videos was successful in improving students' vocabulary because the video used was interested in learning and the only thing students would like to watch videos instead of reading a textbook. read. The Baby Nenes YouTube videos were fun, it improved the mood of the students in learning English and their attention to the teacher's explanations and instruction as well as the explanations of the videos. It means that the presence of the videos could increase the students' ability to concentrate on the lesson.

In this case, that video is one of the popular teaching media in vocabulary acquisition activity. Then that the videos were able to describe the object encouraged the students to memorize in those videos they watched because the videos were colorful, thematic, vivid and engaging, so the students enjoyed the video. This can be seen from the increased students in the result after treatment used in YouTube Videos of the Child Mother.

It can be said that the implementation of Baby Nene's Youtube videos could help students improve their vocabulary, give them motivation and make learning more fun.

Conclusions

Based on this result, media used in teaching, Youtube videos improve students' vocabulary.

Suggestions
