Laser is a device that strengthens light. It produces a thin beam of light which is so strong that it can burn a hole in a diamond.
The word LASER is abbreviated form of Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation. The powerful light has a revolutionary effect on medicines, communication, scientific research, industry and military operations. Laser light is different from the light produced by electric bulb or tube and the sun. The light from these sources travels in all directions.
Laser light travels in only one direction and in a narrow beam.
Laser light is very bright and dangerous.
