KVA lSl marked stabilizers. Quantity of air conditioners likely to be purchased is twelve (6 window and 6 split).

The tender

must be

submitted

on www.eprocure.gov.in through

online mode

only. No manual bids will be

Bids shall be valid

Equipment Manufacturers

(OEM) or

authorized dealers/ distributor of OEM. In case of OEM, the bidder shall give a self declaration confirming that they are regular in manufacturing & supplying the equipment from last

five

years

and

have capacity

to

execute

the

tender independently

in

terms

of

the tender document. In case of authorized dealers/ distributor of OEM they should have

to

produce authorization letter from OEM & a self declaration that concerned OEM is regular in manufacturing & supplying the equipment from last five years. The bidder should have minimum annual turnover of Rs. 25 lakhs for last three financial years The

The firm should have

at least one project of supply and

installation in Government Ministries/ Departments/ PSUs

of

comparable level having minimum value of Rs. 2 Lakh in each of the last three financial years in Government

Public Sector.

The

bidder should

not

have been blacklisted

by any

Ministry/ Department/PSU

of

the Govt. of India. The tendering firm/bidder shall have to give a certificate on the letter head of the firm to the effect that they have not been blacklisted or their business dealings with the Government Ministries/ Departments have not been banned.

The air conditioners are required

to

be installed in various rooms of

this

Department in

Krishi

Bhawan

& Shastri

Bhawan. Bidders

are

advised

to

inspect

the site

before submission

of

bids.

All

expenses towards

civil work and

electrical

work

required for installation shall be borne by the bidder.

The successful bidder has to supply and install ACs and

0) The bidder shall provide warranty of one year from OEM. The bidder will be required to ensure trouble

free

operations

of the air

conditioners

at the rated

performance _with minimum break down during warranty period. The _bidder will also be required to provide two complete service in a year for:-

(1)

Complete check up of

Air

conditioners

for

performance with oiling and tuning

of

all mechanical and electrical parts

(2)

Temperature regulation & power consumption checking

(3)

Cleaning of condenser & cooling coils, filters & body etc.

The selected L-1 bidder has to match L-1 rates found in comparison of all bidders

for

items mentioned

in

table-2

of

financial

bid. In

case more

than

one bidder quotes

L-1

rates resulting

in a tie, the

lowest bidder

will be

decided

on the

basis of highest turnover during the last three years.

In case

of

non-functioning of ACs, no repair of compressor will be allowed. The bidder shall have

to

replace

the

defective compressor

or

any other part with

hours

of

the complaint with new one only.

The EMD/ performance security shall be forfeited on following grounds:-

(i)

lf a bidder withdraws his bid during the period of bid validity specified by the bidder on the bid form or

(ii)

In case of a successful bidder,

ifthe bidderfailsto

supply and install the

air

conditioners

within 10

days

from the date of

supply order

of

the Department.

The

damage caused,

if

any, either

to air

conditioner

or to any other

^property

of

the Government through negligence or othenruise, shall be at the risk, cost and responsibility

of the

contractor. The financial

or

any other loss suffered by

the

Government

on

this account shall be made good by

the

contractor and decision

of the

undersigned in this context shall be binding on the contractor.

The Department is free

to

change the quantity of ACs & stabilizers for which the bid is called and the payment will be made for actual quantity _installed.

No advance

^payment

will be made.

Payment

will be made only after

successful installation & commissioning job. A certificate from the occupants of the room/concerned officer towards satisfactory completion

of the work will be

obtained

by the firm

and submitted along with bills.

The Department reserves the right

to

reject or to accept any quotation, whole or in parl without assigning any reason thereof. The Department reserves

the

right

to

cancel the contract in

full or

part at any time during the contract period

if

the quality

of

the items/

services of the contractor are not found satisfactory. In all matters of dispute relating to

the

proposed contract, the decision of

the

Department

in

both cases shall be final and binding on the contractor

The tenderer whose tender is finally accepted, shall have to furnish performance security

of a

sum

of

Rs.50,000f (Rs. Fifty thousand only) by means of fixed deposit valid upto 31.05.2017

in

any Scheduled Commercial bank pledged

in

favour

of

PAO (Sectt. l), Department

of

Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, New Delhi. The earnest money

shall be

returned

to the

successful

bidder after

depositing

Rs. 50,000f

security.

Delivery of the goods and performance of the services shall be made by the supplier in accordance with the time schedule specified by this Department in its purchase order. In

case

the

supply

is

not completed

in the

stipulated delivery period,

as

indicated

in

the purchase order, Department reserves the right to short close/ cancel this pur:chase order and/or recover liquidated damage charges. The cancellation

short closing of the order

shall be at risk and

responsibility

of the

supplier

and

purchaser reserves

the

right to purchase balance unsupplied items at the risk and cost of the defaulting supplier who will be obligated to make good the pecuniary loss to the Department.

It may be specifically

noted

that the

bids

not meeting

even

the basic

cost

of the inputs i.e.

unreasonably

low

prices

just to undercut and

obtain

contract

are liabte to be

ignored

to maintain the

required

standards

of work

being awarded.
