1st hand weeding may be done at 20-25 DAT followed by top dressing of Urea @44Kg/ha. Due to continuous rain in the last days, farmers are advised to check the water level and released excess water maintaining a water level of 3-5 cm.
Brinjal Fruiting/Picking Harvest the maturing of mature fruit.
For management of shoot & fruit borer, remove the affected terminal shoot showing boreholes, fruit &
destroy. Spray neem Kernal Extract 5% at 15 days interval.

Spray/ drench 1% Bordeaux mixture or Dithane M-45 (2.5g/l) to prevent rhizome rot.
Apply Flubendiamide 480SC @ 20ml 100l of water for 1 acre.

Flowering to pod formation stage
Avoid water logging in the field. Remove excess water and maintain proper drainage facilities. Farmers can perform one hand weeding at 30-35DAS (i.e. flower initiation stage) followed by earthing up to promote easy penetration of pegs into soil.
Leaf spot Warm weather with intermittent rain is congenial for the development of leaf spot in groundnut. Spray carbendazim (0.05%) + mancozeb (0.2%) at 2-3 weeks intervals after the current spell of rain if dark spots are seen on the leaf.

Khasi Mandarin All stage Paste the trunk of Mandarin tree upto 2m height with 1%
Carbaryl 150 WP (20g/l).
Collect and destroy the trunk borer adults by shaking the branches 2-3 times at 10 days interval.
Animal Sciences
Poultry All stages As the day temperature has increased keep the poultry house well ventilated during day time.
Provide vitamin B complex @ 7ml/litre in drinking water daily in broiler for healthy growth.
Litter should be changed periodically and provide clean drinking water and changed the water every day.
Diseased and dead birds should be immediately removed.
Regularly inspect the dropings of the poultry birds for any diseases symptom.
Coccidiosis Provide plenty of fresh and clean drinking water.
Provide coccidiostatic like Amprolium @ 25-65 mg/kg feed once a day as a preventive measure against coccidiosis.
Ranikhet disease Vaccinate the poultry birds with F1/ Lasota vaccine (1 drop) at the age of 4-7 days old and 35 days old through eye and nostril.
Piggery All stages Keep the pig stay/shed dry and clean and avoid
dampness during rainy season.
Repair the roof of pig stay to protect from rain.
Vaccinate all newly born piglets against swine fever at the age of 3 months followed by annual booster dose.
In epidemic areas, vaccinate 6 months old pigs with FMD vaccine once in a year.
Skin infection Provide Ivermectin (Injection) @ 10mg/33kg body wt.
