Activity/Events

Conferences & Seminars

– Conferences and seminars are organized by faculty of nursing for updating the knowledge of students as well as faculty members.

• One day National Conference was organized - “ Nursing Research –A venture For Quality Outcome” 26 November 2016.

• Two days workshop was conducted on Medical Emergencies organized in collaboration with RMCT on 2-3rd November 2018.

• Three days National Conference was organized “Nursing Research and Evidence Based Practice 7 -9th December 2018.

• Three days International Conference was organized “Challenges & Innovations In Nursing” from 05th-07th November 2019

Guest Lectures

- Guest speakers from medical and nursing professionals has shared their valuable ideas and has enlightened the students and faculty in various occasions.

• On 10 th October 2018 celebrated World mental health day along with a guest lecture from Dr.Nassir Mohammed (HOD of Psychiatry department Rama Medical College Hospital and Research Centre)

• Faculty of Nursing, Rama University organized a guest lecture on World Cancer Day 2019 on the theme- “I am and I will”- for the students of B.Sc 3 rd and 4 th Year and P.B.Sc 2 nd Year students. The speakers invited for the day were Dr. Mumukshu Dixit, Retired CMS, GSVM, Kanpur, Dr. M.P. Mishra, Director, J.K. Cancer Hospital, Kanpur and Dr.Nirupama Dixit, CMS J.K. Cancer Hospital, Kanpur. All the guest speakers invited had wide experience in the field of cancer prevention and treatment.

Industrial Visits

–The industrial visits plays a key role in improvising the students field knowledge.Some areas visited recently include the following

• ALIMCO

• Blind school A.R.T Center Harsh nagar, Kanpur

• Sewage treatment plant Bingwan naubasta Kanpur

Research Publications

- The area of research, the faculty members have written original research paper and reviewed article in various discipline of Nursing that were published in reputed research journals:

The “Journal of Nursing Practice and Education” (JNPE) :

• The “Journal of Nursing Practice and Education” (JNPE), is an official quarterly publication of Rama University that focuses on publishing the top notch peer reviewed work pertaining to all aspects related to nursing. The journal provides a platform to researchers, academicians, students and others to gain new insights to publish their articles and hone their existing skills in the field of nursing education. Faculty and students are getting opportunity to publish their research findings in the Journal of Nursing Practice and Education which can helps in student research progress .
