About the National seminar:

Life Sciences which encompasses several living forms is an enormous field of study. Out of this microbiology and chemistry play a crucial role as Microbes provide a major interface to understand chemistry hidden in biological systems.

They can be the prototype models for various types of biological research. They provide various chemical compounds which finds immense potential in the pharamaceutical and food industry. The microbes or their products play a key role in biotransformation that can make feasible reactions that are not likely to be carried out by traditional synthetic procedures. They also play a key role in bioremediation in various chemical industries. Huge job potential are also available in QC and QA for microbiologists in chemical industries
