The Directors and above cohort recently mentored budding social entrepreneurs in the North East region of India and West Bengal. These social innovators are part of the School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) India's flagship nine-monthSocial Start-Up Fellowship Programme where one entrepreneur is mapped to a PwC mentor to guide them on their journey. Through our collaboration with SSE India, the PwC India Foundation (PwCIF) is bringing our firm leaders’ expertise, insights, knowledge and guidance to these budding entrepreneurs to help take their start-up ideas to the next level.
On the back of the robust on-ground and secondary research, the PwC-ORF joint study titled:Climate, community, cooperation: An Indian approach to adaptation in the Global South,seeks to highlight best practices for climate hazard management and resilience building across diverse Indian states, and identify opportunities for upscaling these approaches by synergising stronger partnerships among governments, citizens, and private sector companies.
