Admission Guidelines‐2015 (Modus Operandi)
UG/PG/Integrated Programmes
1. The selection for various programmes will be done on the basis of performance of the eligible candidates in the CUCET-2015 & merit obtained in the qualifying examination.
30% weightage shall be given to merit obtained in the qualifying examination & 70%
weightage shall be given to the score obtained in entrance test. However, in case of admission to MTM (Masters in tourism Management), M. A. Convergent Journalism &
LLM Programmes, the candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of their score in cucet- 2015 & qualifying examination in combination. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI). The final selection will be based on the merit prepared as per the pattern detailed below:

PG Diploma Courses
2. No candidate shall be eligible for admission to any programme if he/she is already registered for any full time programme of this or any other University / Institution. No candidate admitted to any programme shall undertake any employment or join any other course of study before completing the minimum residency period.
3. The selection list shall be available on the University website www.cukashmir.ac.in.
4. The selected candidates shall have to submit a separate admission form along with the prescribed fee & other relevant documents to the University as per the University norms within the stipulated period notified by the University from time to time.
5. If the candidate fails to complete the formalities within the prescribed period, the offer of admission shall stand forfeited.
6. If during the course of study, it is found that candidate has supressed any fact which will otherwise render him/her ineligible for the admission, his/her admission shall be summarily cancelled with immediate effect.
7. Reservations of seats shall be as per Central Govt. of India (GoI) norms.
8. The admission of the candidates shall be provisional subject to verification of marks sheets/Degrees/Certificates & all other relevant documents.
9. For MBA, separate admission notice shall be issued.
10. For Research Degree Programmes, a separate notification for presentation & personal interview shall be issued.
11. For In-service candidate, wherever applicable, the candidates shall be required to notify the university immediately after the declaration of the results about their candidature under In-service Candidature.
