You will be glad to know that Directorate of Extension, Ministry of Agriculture, Department of Agriculture. &
Cooperation, Government of India has approved a Model Training Course (MTC) on “Natural Resource Management for Sustainable Agriculture” from 15-22 December, 2014 to be organized at Centre for Environment Science and Climate Resilient Agriculture (CESCRA), Indian Agricultural Research Institute, New Delhi - 110012 for the Officers of State Development Departments in the country.
The proposed training will apprise the candidates about the various technologies that can be precisely exploited for environmental resources conservation and sustainable agriculture productivity. It will be beneficial to the officials of State Department of Agriculture. The application proforma is enclosed with this Circular. Kindly nominate two or more than two officials from your department who can apply to the Course Director, CESCRA, IARI, New Delhi -110012 on or before 25th November 2014 in the enclosed proforma. Interested candidates may also send an advance copy of their application by email ([email protected]) for timely processing. However, the application should be sent through proper channel for final consideration of the nomination. TA will be reimbursed as per entitlement maximum upto AC-two tier on submission of original travel tickets in support of their claim by officials of State Department only. There is no any provision to provide DA to the officials attending the MTC. In case participants from ICAR/SAU's/KVK's/others are interested to attend the MTC, their TA/DA will be borne by the respective sponsoring organization/Institute. All participants are entitled for free boarding and lodging facilities during the training program. The selected candidates will be informed through e-mail/telephone so that they can make their travel program accordingly. Selection will be done on first-cum-serve basis.
