Applications are invited for the following positions in the DST, Government of India sponsored project,

Hazardous/ Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) land fill leachate treatment using Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP’s) coupled with Electrochemical-biological techniques" with file No." DST/TDT/WM/2019/27”, only from qualified candidates. Candidates interested are requested to send their applications in the prescribed format (attached with this advertisement) to the Principal Investigator through email to: [email protected] on or before 18-10-2021. Applicants meeting the eligibility criteria will only be selected and notified for interview via email.

B.Sc. with chemistry as one of the subject.

Desirable qualification: Relevant work experience in environmental analysis.

As per DST guidelines 1 Year ( extendable to 2 years)

About the project:

The project focus on the treatment of Hazardous/ Municipal Solid Waste (MSW) land fill leachate using Advanced Oxidation Process (AOP’s) coupled with Electrochemical-biological techniques. The research work involves an inter-disciplinary approach environmentaland chemical science/engineering, which helps the candidate to be trained in the upcoming areas of Environmental remediation with industrial experience.

Note: The institute reserved the right to fill or not to fill the post advertised.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS 1. Only eligible candidates are required to apply.

2. The contract is purely temporary and initially only for a period of one year but extendable if work is found satisfactory on year to year basis till the completion of theproject.

3. Candidates have to fully devote their time for the project work and are not allowed to join anyother course (part/ fulltime).

4. Age limit is as per DSTrules.

5. Candidates who wish to leave the project in between have to inform the PI in writing at least 3months before or till other personnel is employed in the project, whichever isearlier.

6. Selection will be made purely as per the DST and University guidelines subject to approval byDST.

7. No TA/DA will be paid for either attending the interview or while joining theproject.
