COLLEGE UNION REPORT 2017-18
Little Flower College is by the grace of God abundantly blessed with a spacious Campus that has borne fruit in innumerable recognitions in curricular activities of arts and sports. The College Union is a microcosm of the synergy and vibrancy of our young, creative, committed learners. The duly elected union for this academic year is truly a multi-talented and stellar body of dedicated and energetic leaders, worth emulation.
The election was held on 10th August 2017 in Parliamentary mode. Ms. Fathima Musthafa of the Department English assumed Charge as chairperson of this college. The flag bearers of the college union for the year 2017-18 are as follows:

The Union office bearers were officially inducted through an investiture ceremony and Oath taking was led by the Principal the very next day and took forward the activities of College for the year
The Year also promised a visual treat for the Freshers Day organised on the 17th of August 2017, Which was an exposition of innate talents of our new blooms. The Union and Fine Arts inauguration was formally held on 26th August with cine celebrities Deepak Param Paul and Bhagath Manuel presided by the Principal Rev. Sr. Dr. Treesa Dominic. The newly elected union plunged fast into their assigned duties to carry forward the torch of their L F legacy with a plomb.

bus stop near our Campus blossomed on 30th August 2017 with the committed support of our Guruvayur chairperson Prof.Santhakumari and our Principal Rev. Sr.Dr.Treesa Dominic which was formally inaugurated by Shri K.V.Abdul Khader M.L.A and was dedicated to this locality. An ATM and plush bus stop with Wi-Fi connectivity has enlivened the experience of all the commuters using this bus stop.

On the same day the Onam celebrations for the academic year 2017-18 was officially inaugurated by The Guruvayur Municipal Chair Person Smt.
Santha Kumari teacher. The celebration was made more colourful by including the competitions like Vadamvali, Malayali Manga, Onapattu, Uriyadi, Payasam making and Onam Visualisation.
The onam celebrations too had a great pomp and glory with the participation of Asianet Plus along with our students in organising games and opportunities to win prizes which was a bountiful harvest of student flair.
The College Union giving away the token of our love (The miniature of our newly constructing block) to our Dear Principal Rev. Sr. Dr. Treesa Dominic during Principal’s Day and Patron’s Day Celebrations on 21st October 2017.

The most exclusive event of our academic calendar being the arts festival, KALAKELI was inaugurated by our Vice Principal Rev. Sr. Dr. Moly Clare, which was held on the 1st& 2nd of November. The off stage items were held on the 30thand the 31st of October, 1st and 2nd November at different venues. The creative urge of the students to participate in all dance, music, and dramatic programmes saw an amalgamation of team spirit and competitive spirit among the students. Ms.Anju Sundaran, III Dc Mathematics won the title Sarga Prathiba of the academic year 2017- 18. And Ms. Vineetha C G of III Dc Computer Science became the Kalathilakam of the year.

Our college is unique with its specially designed social
commitment activities to uphold LF values specially fraternity and charity. The social responsibility to the less privileged is strengthened through programmes like social service day that was held in our college on 12thof December presided by Rev. Sr. Little Mary Assistant Provincial of Assisi Province Thrissur.
We expressed our solidarity with our suffering brethren of Okhi disaster that struck our cost last month. We commiserated with our fellow human beings by distributing essential needs of food and clothing and promised to construct two houses for the needy.
