Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU):Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is a State University recognized by the University Grants Commission under Section 2(F) and 12(B) of UGC act 1956.
Ranked among the Top 100 Engineering Institutions and Top 150 Universities by NIRF 2018, MHRD, GoI, the University Campus is spread over an area of 474 acres in scenic surroundings of Trikuta hills, in the vicinity of Katra, Jammu & Kashmir. With students from 23 States of the country and faculty members from 13 States, the fully
residential university is a Mini India. The university provides technical education in the field of engineering, science, management and philosophy.The SMVDU Technology Business Incubation centre (SMVDU TBIC) established with funding from NSTEDB, DST, GoI currently has 14 Incubatees who are doing remarkably well in a short period of time.
Motihari College of Engineering:
Motihari College of Engineering was initially founded as Indian College of Engineering on November 24, 1980, which was situated in the holy land where Mahatma Gandhi started his fight with non-violence for Independence of our nation. Later Government of Bihar has taken over the college and resumed the Institute on November 24, 2008. The institute is fully funded by Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of Bihar and affiliated to Aryabhatta Knowledge University (AKU), Patna.
The college is spread over 47.73 acres in Bairiya Fursatpur, Motihari, East Champaran district of Bihar. The college was offering four Undergraduate courses in the field of engineering.
