1) Engineers’ Day
The College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Godhra celebrated “Engineers Day, 2021” to pay tribute to the great Indian Engineer, Bharat Ratna Sir Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya on 15th September, 2021. To celebrate the day more passionately an elocution competitions was conducted for the students through offline and online mode. The function was organized at Exam Hall of the college by maintaining Covid-19 Protocol. The program started with lighting up the lamp by In-charge Principal and all other Head of the Departments with SRC, Chairman. Dr. R. C. Salunkhe welcomed all who were present in the program through online and offline mode. Dr. R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean, Joined the function online and blessed the students by his inspiring words. Total 11 (9 offline and 2 online) students took part in the competition and expressed their views on the topic “Role of Agricultural Engineers to make India Aatmanirbhar” In his speech, Dr. Pankaj Gupta highlighted the enormous contribution of Sir Visvesvaraya in the development of Nation. He also explained that the role of Engineer is to make the life of people more comfortable whereas the role of Agricultural Engineer is to make the life of farmer more comfortable. Mr. Anup Soni (Third Year) got First position, Miss. Sakshi Chandra (Third Year) got Second position and Miss. Shyla Khan (Second Year) got Third position in the competition. Dr. Hardik Sharma, Co-Chairman, SRC expressed vote of thanks for all who were present in the function and for all who contributed for making the function successful.
The day was celebrated by conducting two events. In the morning session, the school students of Shri Shri Ravishankar Vidyamandir, Godhra were invited to visit college. The visit of students started at 9:30 am to the different departments of the college. The students had shown their keen interest in understanding various principles, construction and functions of various equipment, instruments, working models, experimental set ups related to soil conservation, hydrology, irrigation, food and grain processing, renewable energy, tractor, farm machinery and basic engineering. Later on students visited the exhibition hall and had a short interaction with the Principal and Dean regarding prospects and scope of Agricultural education in future.
In the afternoon session, a day was celebrated with UG and PG students followed by watching an online program held at ICAR Headquarter. The function was started with lighting the lamp by Dr. R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean, CAET, Godhra along with all HoD‟s, SRC Chairman and NSS Program officer followed by University Song. Dr. K. R. Jethva, NSS Program Officer welcomed all dignitaries and briefed about the objectives behind celebration of "Agricultural Education Day". Dr. Pankaj Gupta, Dr. D. K. Vyas, Dr. M. K. Tiwari and Dr. Kapil Mandloi expressed their views on the importance of agricultural education in general. In his speech, Dr.
R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean emphasized on the need of spreading awareness about agricultural education in the society. He also urged students to learn and develop the soft skills in developing websites, applications so that they can fulfill the present market demand in the field of Drone Technology, artificial intelligence, GIS & Remote sensing etc. Dr. R. C.
Salunkhe, SRC Chairman delivered a vote of thanks to all who were present in the function and who had taken efforts and helped to make this function successful. The program ended with the singing National Anthem.

4) Cleanness Drive
The cleanness drive was conducted at College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, Godhra by B. Tech. Students to clean Play Ground and surrounding area of Hostel on 12th March, 2022. About 100 students from First year to Final year B. Tech had been participated in the cleanness drive under the guidance of Dr. R. C. Salunkhe, SRC, Chairman, CAET Godhra.
Dr. R. Subbaiah, Principal and Dean, motivated the students and urged that everyone has to make cleanness has habit in our daily routine life to make our country clean and beautiful.
