EIGHTH ALUMNI MEET

The Eighth Alumni Meet was held on the 3rd May 2017, made every heart blossom. The meeting began with a prayer song led by Ms. V K Gayathri by 11:00 A.M. in the Multi-purpose Hall of the School of Education and Ms.V. Aruna was the compeer of the program. Chief Guest of the function, Mrs. Gnanathai, Head, Dept of Tamil, Pachaiyappa’s college for women, Kanchipuram and Dr. R.K.Balachander, Head, Department of Physics, Sri Sankara Arts & Science College, Enathur was the guest of honor. Prof. Dr. K.V.S.N. Murty, Dean, Faculty of Education, welcomed the gathering and explained the importance of Alumni association. Prof. Dr. K.V.S.N.
Murty felicitated the Chief Guest for his commendable services in the field of Education. Mrs.
Gnanathai, spoke on the importance of teaching and the quality of the inspiring teachers. Dr.
R.K.Balachander spoke eloquently about the quality of Education offered in the School of Education. Ms. D.Divyabharathi, Ms. Kanimozhi and Mr. Hariraj, the alumnae of school of Education were felicitated with a shawl and a memento by Prof. Dr. K.V.S.N.Murty, Dean, Faculty of Education. Mr. R. Saravanan, Assistant Professor, who is the Treasurer of Alumni Association, introduced the Alumni members to the gathering.
The selection of Alumni core members was a unanimous choice of the students. The following are the selected members for (2016-17).
