⬧ Cleared the NET examination that was conducted by UGC, in June’2004 and was also awarded the JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) with it.
⬧ I have worked as an Adhoc lecturer in several colleges at Delhi University since 2005. I have also worked for the Institute of Lifelong Learning (North and South campus) and prepared e- learning material for the Undergraduate courses taught at Delhi University. Besides this, I have also taught students through the English Language Proficiency Course that aims at making students fluent in the English language, by imparting the necessary skills that are required by them later at the workplace.

I have published fourteen academic papers and write-ups/reviews in UGC approved Journals, Books and also as e-learning content with ILLL, DU (www.vle.du.ac.in) till date. Other than this, I have co-edited a book on American Literature entitled Revisiting American Literature: Select Short Stories and Poems, with Dr. Prem Kumari Srivastava that was published by Macmillan Publishers India, Delhi in 2018. This book is currently being taught to Undergraduate students of B.A English (Hons), Delhi University for Paper 5 (Semester III) of the CBCS course, titled “American Literature”.

⬧ I have also presented eight papers at International Conferences, held in and out of Delhi. Other than this, I have participated in four Faculty Development Programmes held at various colleges of Delhi University. I have also participated in the International Webinar conducted by CVS in association with IQAC on “COVID 19:
Crisis, Resurrection and Reflections” from 2nd-4th May, 2020. Besides this, I also attended the International webinar on “Aftermath of COVID-19: Hopes and Horizon for Tourism Growth” convened on May 7th-8th, 2020 by College of Vocational Studies, University of Delhi in association with Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management, Bundelkhand University, Jhansi.

1. I am the co-editor of a book with Dr. Prem Kumari Srivastava, entitled Revisiting American Literature: Select Short Stories and Poems. Delhi: Macmillan Publishers, 2018. ISBN 93- 87914- 99-2. This book has been written for B.A. English (Hons) IInd year, Semester III, for Paper 5:
American Literature, as per the CBCS syllabus prescribed for Undergraduate students at Delhi University.
Conference Organization/ Presentations (in the last three years)
(1). Presented a paper entitled “Multiculturalism and Resistance in Peter Carey and Arundhati Roy’s Novels” at the Eight IASA Biennial International Conference (organized by IASA in association with JNIAS) on the topic, Conflict and Resistance in Multicultural India and Australia on 19th January ’2016. (2). Presented a paper entitled “Borders in the Indian Subcontinent: As Markers of Difference after the Partition of 1947” for the International Conference on the theme Borders: Metaphorical and Physical organized by the Department of Germanic and Romance Studies, University of Delhi from 3rd to 5th March ‘2016.
(3). Presented a paper entitled “The Claims of Counter-Culture to Shakespearean Macbeth: Seen in Kurosawa and Bhardwaj’s Filmic Adaptations of It” at the Asian Shakespeare Association‘s Biennial Conference organized at The Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts, Delhi from 1st to 3rd December’ 2016.
(4). Presented a paper entitled “The Politics of Representing and Perceiving the Exotic (as opposed to the Familiar) in Salman Rushdie and Rohinton Mistry’s Novels” at the XXVII FILLM Congress held in New Delhi from 15th to 17th March’ 2017.
(5). Presented a paper entitled “Voices of Women from 1971: A Study of The Search and A Golden Age” at the International Webinar on The Politics of Women’s Writing organized by the Department of English, Bharati College, University of Delhi from 26th-27th May’ 2020.
