Abstract - Education is the key to do a nation’s development. A properly educated nation, which is modern in genesis, an intellect and forward looking in thinking, can only put the country at the zenith of its development. So we need to extent our education system far and wide. That’s why, a good education policy is needed to achieve this purpose our educational policy making system is based on incremental model, which is one of the most popular models of public policy New education policy is the first education policy of the 21st century and replaces the 34 years old National Pillars of Access, Equity, Quality.

Affordability and Accountability this policy is aligned to the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and aims to transform India into a vibrant knowledge. Superpower by making both school and college education more holistic flexible multidisciplinary suited to 21st century needs and aimed at bringing out the unique capabilities of each student. This education policy will work as a basic for an education system suited for the delivery of education which will be pro-people, easily available, uniform, universal, well planned, science oriented and high standard as a strategy to continue all problems. The policy lays a great emphasis on promoting multilingualism so that children know and learn about the rich and vast array of languages of their country.

Keyword: New Education Policy 2020 is brought for the “LEARNING TO LEARN” approach and says that “NO CHILD WILL BE LEFT BEHIND” PERSPECTIVE OF THE POLICY.

1 INTRODUCTION

New Education Policy emphasizes on the critically of the early years to ensure quality early childhood care and education for all children between 3-6 years by 2025. With emphasis on early childhood care and education the 10+2 structure of school curricular is to be re- placed by a 5+3+3+4 curricular structure corresponding to ages 3-8, 8-11, 11-14 and 14-18 years respectively. This will bring the hitherto uncovered age group of 3-6 years under school curriculum which has been recognized globally as the crucial stage for development of mental faculties of a child. The new system will have 12 years of schooling with three of Anganwadi/ Pre-schooling. The new system will cover four stages: Foundation Stage (in two parts, i.e. 3 years of Anganwadi / Pre-schooling +2 years in primary school in grades 1-2 both together covering ages 3-8 years) Preparatory Stage (grades 3-5 covering ages 8-11 years) Middle Stage (grade 6-8 covering ages 11-14 years) Secondary Stage (grade 9-12 in two phases 9 and 10 into first phase and 11 and. 12 in the second phase, covering ages 14- 18 years) An education system rooted in Indian ethos that contributes directly to transforming India, that is Bharat, sustainably into an equitable and vibrant knowledge society, by providing high-quality education to all, and thereby making India a global knowledge superpower. our in- situations must develop a deep sense of respect towards the fundamental duties and Constitutional values, bonding with one’s country, and a conscious awareness of one’s roles and responsibilities in a changing world. to instill a deep-rooted pride in being Indian, not only in thought, but also in spirit, intellect, and deeds, as well as to develop knowledge, skills, values, and dispositions that sup- port responsible commitment to human rights, sustainable development and living, and global well-being, thereby reflecting a truly global citizen.

2 PROMOTION OF INDIAN LANGUAGES, ARTS & CULTURE

The promotion of Indian arts and culture is important not only for the nation but also for the individual. Cultural awareness and expression are among the major competencies considered important to develop in children, in order to provide them with a sense of identity, belonging, as well as an appreciation of other cultures and identities. Indian arts of all kinds must be offered to students at all levels of education, starting with early childhood care and education. For languages to remain relevant and vibrant, there must be a steady stream of high- quality learning and print materials in these languages including textbooks, workbooks, videos, plays, poems, novels, magazines, etc. Strong departments and

Every higher education institution and even every school or school complex will aim to have Artist(s)-in-Residence to expose students to art, creativity, and the rich treasures of the region/country. More HEIs, and more programmers in higher education, will use the mother tongue/ local language as a medium of instruction, and/ or offer programmers bilingually. High-quality programmers and degrees in Translation and In perpetration, Art and Museum.

Administration, Archaeology, Artifact Conservation, Graphic Design, and Web Design within the higher education system will also be created. Touring by HEI students to different parts of the country, which will not only give a boost to tourism but will also lead to an under- standing and appreciation of diversity, culture, traditions and knowledge of different parts of India.

2.1 Objectives

Education serves many interest in promoting individual development understanding and pro- ductility and well being:

 To find sufficient place to meet current and future parental demand for education.

 To offer a meaningful and relevant learning experience in all students and also have economical and development significant.

 To upgrade teaching and learning curricular teaching qualification and performance, physical facilities, teaching and learning materials, minimum standards, regulatory requirements, assessments, examinations etc. within reasonable affordable limits in order to support to meaningful and relevant learning experience required by studies

 To maximize the potential of all avail- able national resources in the most cost efficient manner to pursuit of these policy objectives.

3 METHODLOGY

This research is a descriptive study. The necessary secondary data was collected from various websites including those of Government of India, magazines, journals, other publications, etc. This data was then analyzed and reviewed to arrive at the inferences and conclusions.

3.1 Impact of New Education Policy

This new education policy will impact billions of lives. But the two major segment that would be affected are Students and Teachers.

3.2 Impact on Students:

This policy will open up new learning op-opportunities to the students. Its biggest impact would be the change in the learning environment and the learning process for the students.

3.3 The new education policy will:

 Increase focus on the skill improvement and competency development of the students.

 Make the students future-ready by building 21st-century skills.

 Make students focus on both academic and non-academic pursuits.

 Provide various learning opportunities for pre-primary, open, and distance-learning stu- dents.

 Give access to counseling and other services for students.

New quality of higher educational institutes which will at with purr the global standards. Since NEP will make it easier for foreign colleges to set up their campuses here many students who are unable to go abroad due to multiple reasons will able to experience it and get global exposer. This Policy will promote value based education. Therefore, this new national policy on education will also provide multiple exit options for mid-term drop-out students with 1 year of training or 2 years of Diploma.

With so many growing opportunities, students’ curiosity and confusion will also grow. So, they are suggested to take the help of the experts and professionals in making the right career decisions. The first expert the students come across is the Teacher. Hence, the Indian government has something to offer for the teachers as well.

Education is recognized as one of the major elements for building and empowered knowledge based society to meet the demands and challenges of the 21st century. New Education policy will promote skill based education and enhance the practical skills of the students it gives a special focus on the National Research Foundation because innovation is one of the most important parts for a country to progress. Only when research and innovation are strong enough we will be able to progress in this competitive world.
