Applications are invited for admission to following full time M.Tech. Programme in various department. The candidates having valid GATE score shall be given preference.

Number of seats in each specialization shall be 18(Eighteen) only.
ELIGIBILITY:-
1. Should have passed BE/B.Tech. Degree with minimum 55% marks (in case of grades CGPA shall be minimum of 6.25 on 10 point scale). In case of SC/ST candidates, pass in BE/B.Tech. with minimum marks of 50% shall be (in case of grade 5.75 CGPA on 10 point scale.) are eligible.
2. The candidates who have appeared/appearing in final BE/B.Tech. can also apply. However, they shall be required to submit their mark sheet latest by 30
thSept. 2010 failing which their admission shall stand cancelled.
FEE :-
Annual fee of Rs. 47,000/- and college caution money of Rs. 5,000/- shall be applicable for admission in any M.Tech. Programme. First semester fee shall be Rs. 28,500/- (23500/- + Rs. 5000/-). Fee for sub sequent semesters shall be Rs. 23,500/-
SCHOLARSHIP :-
1. Candidate having valid GATE score shall be given MHRD scholarship if sanctioned.
2. The Non GATE candidate shall not be offered any scholarship.
3. All the GATE candidate are required to render teaching assistantship 8 to 10 periods/ week
ADMISSION PROCEDURE:-
1. In M.Tech. programme the admission shall be granted on the basis of valid GATE score and in case of vacancy the candidates not having GATE score shall be provided admission as per Undergraduate merit/interview/ written test.
2. The reservation in M.Tech. programme shall be as per State Govt. Reservation Policy.
HOW TO APPLY:-
1. The application form along with application fee of Rs. 500/- (non refundable) in the form of Demand draft in favour of Principal, Engineering College Ajmer payable at Ajmer should reach at the
office of Principal, Engineering College Ajmer, N.H. No.- 8 Near Nareli Temple, Barliya Chourha, Ajmer– 305001 latest by 27
thJuly 2010 by Registered/ Speed Post. No courier post shall be accepted.

SELECTION PROCEDURE:-
List of the selected candidates shall be displayed on the website and Notice board of the Engineering College Ajmer and no individual communication shall be entertained.
Note:
1. In case minimum number of applications are not received in any subject specialization the college shall not have any responsibility to start the M.Tech programme in concerned subject specialization.
2. Courses will be offered depending upon the availability of the candidates and faculty.
3. The students will be given admission in the specialization floated by the
department.
