The Best of Services in India – Design & Execution
IBEF
India Brand Equity Foundation is a Trust established by the Ministry of Commerce with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) as its associate. IBEF’s primary objective is to promote and create international awareness of the Made in India label in markets overseas and to facilitate the dissemination of knowledge of Indian products and services. Towards this objective IBEF works closely with stakeholders across government and industry.
IBEF’s website www.ibef.org is a knowledge centre for global investors, international policy- makers and world media seeking updated, accurate and comprehensive information on the Indian economy, states and sectors. IBEF regularly tracks government announcements in policy, foreign investment, macroeconomic indicators and business trends.
A bouquet of communication resources – films, posters, panels, CD, magazine, e-newsletter(s), industry reports – comprise the India business kit that bring live the India business story.
Scope of assignment
1. The Best of Services in India is intended as a Coffee Table Book to highlight India’s uniqueness and competitiveness in the services sector. It intends to showcase the success of India’s services industry, its growth story, which is inspiring and has scripted Indian industry’s globalisation.
The Best of Services is the second book in the series of The Best of India books. The design needs to keep alive the linkages with the first book, which is The Best of India – an introduction to the choicest of Indian products so that both appear belonging to the same series. The Best of India – an introduction to the choicest of Indian products can be accessed on the IBEF website at www.ibef.org
2. IBEF seeks a complete concept and design for the above book, in terms of the cover, layout of inside pages and casing/ packaging.

Government of India, Department of Commerce, Ministry of Commerce and Industry logo.
Pictures relating to the services sector can be used on the front cover.

3. Target Audience: Government leaders, Business dignataries, International Media and Academic Institutions, decision makers in markets abroad.
4. Proposals must be complete and include
Concept and design for the book in terms of size, shape and packaging
The above should also include the design for cover, design for layout of inside pages
A sample of a Coffee Table book, if any designed in the past
Dateline for submission
The proposal should be submitted by and not later than 30th June 2011.
The technical proposal must be accompanied with the financial proposal. The financial proposal should be provided in a separate sealed envelope.
