Sealed quotations are invited from reputed biotech firms (having their own laboratory facility) for outsourcing of research services which will include DNA fingerprinting and DNA barcoding of different species of plants and microbes of agricultural importance. The firm must be a registered legal entity and should have been in existence for at least 5 years. The firm must have to their credit at least 5 relevant completed/ongoing projects or projects on genome wide screening of plant or microbial samples of worth at least 200 lakhs during the last 5 years in any ICAR or reputed government research institution(s). The firm fulfilling the eligibility criteria may collect the detail work plan and terms & conditions from the office of the undersigned. The technical and financial bid, in the prescribed format must be delivered by 30th November, 2014 (4:00 pm) to the Joint Director, ICAR Research Complex for NEH Region, Manipur Centre, Lamphelpat, Imphal - 795004.
