Department of Business Administration, Jawaharlal Nehru School of Management, Assam University, Silchar is organizing a 15days Research Capacity Building Programme for Social sciences which is sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR), New Delhi. Research scholars from Assam and the neighboring states will be preferred. The objective of the Programme is to build/enhance the research capacities of the Faculty members, covering the various aspects of research methodology in the disciplines of Social Sciences. The Course will be open to all Faculty Members of Social Science disciplines in Research Institutions, Colleges and University Departments.

An applicant should submit his/her academic details in a pro-forma to be prescribed by the ICSSR including his/her academic plan to engage in research and publication after undertaking the course before 30^th April, 2017.. Desirous candidates can send a filled in soft/hard copy of application form, brief C.V along with other required documents to [email protected] or can send application to the Course Director, Dr. Arup Barman, Department of Business Administration, Assam University, Silchar.

Registration Fee: Rs. 500 for Regular Faculty Member in General Category Rs. 300 for Scholars Belong to General Category

(No fee for SC/ST Scholars who registered his/her Phd in any university of North Eastern States)

Travel Allowance and Accommodation:

Travel allowance by shortest distance (Railway fares/Actual Bus fare) will be reimbursed to the outstation participants subject to production of tickets as per ICSSR guidelines/University Rules.

Free of cost fooding will be provided to all participants while lodging will be provided only to outstation participants.
