M.Phil/Ph.D ADMISSION NOTICE, 2018

1. Candidates eligible for Combined Research Entrance Test (C-RET) of M.Phil/Ph.D 2018 must submit original documents of educational qualifications for verification on the Day of the Personal Interview (18.01.2018). Also the Candidates are required to submit the photocopy (self-attested) of the documents mentioned. This is mandatory, failing which the candidature of a candidate may be cancelled by the Departmental Admission Committee.

2. Candidates claiming to belong to reserved category need to submit their caste certificate released by the Govt. of India.

3. Candidates belonging to OBC/MOBC must submit Non-creamy Layer Certificate and the Income Certificate for the current Financial Year failing which their candidature would be treated in Open Category.

4. Candidates who are in service in permanent capacity must submit No-Objection- Certificate from appropriate authority to the fact that they would be released from their services to attend the Course Work classes.

5. Candidates who have submitted their Qualifying Examination Marks in CGPA must intimate it in Percentage form as per formula followed in their respective universities and institutions on the day of the Written Test (17.01.2018).

6. JRF/NET/SLET/M.Phil qualified candidates will also have to appear in the C.RET (Written Test and Personal Interview).

7. A candidate must secure at least 50% marks in the C-RET to qualify for personal interview.

8. Candidates qualifying for the Personal Interview shall have to make a presentation on their research inter/area before the Departmental Research Committee.

9. Candidates qualifying for the personal interview have to make a presentation on the topic of their research interest before the Departmental Research Committee.

10. Candidates must report to the Department at 9.30 A.M. on the day of the Personal Interview (18.01.2018) for verification of Documents.

11. The List of Candidates qualifying for the Personal Interview will be available in the Notice Board of the Department on 17.01.2018 evening.
