BLOOD DONATION CAMP
Total 153 units of blood were donated from the college organized by Nss unit in association with AIIMS on 05-02-2019
AWARENESS PROGRAM RALLIES
Swachhta awareness rally was organised around the college campus during the swachhta pakhwara, on 14-07-2018, in which 100 volunteers took active part.
30 volunteers were part of Road safety Rally held on 04- 02-2019 at India Gate on the
occasion of national road safety week.

Deshbandhu College is always forward to ware citizens about Cleanliness and in these kind of
awareness programme all Nss volunteers of Deshbandu College participates.
Swachhta Pakhwara
Nss unit of the college celebrated Swachhta
Pakhwara from 01-08-18 to 15-08-18.
In which various awareness activities were organized.
Volunteers also went to
Tugalkabad fort and Kalkaji shelter home to run a
cleanliness drive.
World Literacy day
On the occasion of world literacy day i.e. On 08-09-2018 Volunteers
conducted a stationary and books donation
drive for the children of Okhla slum area.
Nss Day Celebration
Two day celebration was observed by the Nss unit of the college on the occasion of NSS Day 2018.
Poster making competition, Wall painting and cleanliness drive was held on 24-09-
2019 and 25-09-2019.
Talk on Environment safety and
women hygiene
A talk on environment safety and womenhygiene was organized on 05-10-18 which
was attended by 100 volunteers.
National voter’s Day
On the occasion of national voter’s Day i.e. On 25-01- 2019 Volunteers took the pledge to vote and a
Nukkad Natak was
performed by team from Election office, North east Delhi kalkaji.
Martyr’s Day
On the 30-01-2019 a
two minutes silence was observed in the college campus to our martyred soldiers of our nations.
Road safety Awareness Program
On the first day of National Road safety week i.e. was on 04- 02-2019 a Awareness Program was
organized which was attended by 100
volunteers.
Awareness Program on CPR training
CPR awareness program was organized on 12-03- 2019 which was
attended by 110 volunteers.
Celebration of International Mother language Day
On the occasion of
International Mother language Day i.e on 21-02-2019.A talk was organized highlighting the importance on mother
language and also cultural performances were
performed by the volunteers.
EVM Demonstration & Electoral Awareness Program
On 27th March Nss unit of DBC organized an EVM
demonstration and Electoral program in association with Election Commission Office, South East Delhi. Mock EVM voting was done and EVM’s were demonstrated to the students.
