Notice for Empanelment of Contractors
Notice No. 08 of 2021 Dated: 08 .07.2021
Central University of Kashmir intends to empanel the contractors having registration of Class
“DEE” & above (Electrical) registered with the J&K UT Government/ CPWD/Railways/PDD or any such other UT/State/ Central Government agency for executing minor Electrical and other
allied repairs/works at CUK campuses at Ganderbal upto 31st December 2021.
Eligibility, Guidelines & Last Date
1. Applicants for empanelment should apply in the prescribed form, which along with all other details can be downloaded from CUK’s website www.cukashmir.ac.in.
2. The applications duly filled in the prescribed form may be submitted in a sealed cover clearly super scribing “Application for empanelment of contractors” and addressed to Registrar, Central University of Kashmir, Green Campus Ganderbal. Pin: 191201.The rest of the details are given in the prescribed empanelment form. Each page of the application & supporting documents should be signed by the Contractor.
3. If the space in proforma is insufficient for furnishing full details, such information may be supplemented on separate sheet stating therein the part of proforma & serial no.
4. The last date for submission of empanelment document form is 26.07.2021 and the initial date of scrutiny shall be 27.07.2021 at Green Campus Ganderbal.
5. Contractors interested in empanelment shall furnish a refundable deposit of Rs. 50,000/- in shape of Demand Draft in favour Central University of Kashmir payable at Ganderbal which in case of unsuccessful applicants shall be released subsequently.
6. The Contractors will be short listed based on their suitability, experience & other conditions prescribed in the empanelment form.
7. Application containing false & /or incomplete information is liable for rejection. CUK reserves right to accept or reject any or all the applications without assigning any reasons whatsoever & decision of the University shall be final.
8. All other conditions in the GCC & CPWD works manual shall be applicable to contractors selected for empanelment.
9. Contractors earlier empanelled with CUK shall have to produce a Performance Certificate duly signed by the appropriate officer of the University.
10. The electrical contractors already empanelled with the university need not to apply a fresh.

Prescribed Form for Empanelment of Contractors
1. Name of the Contractor
2. Address
3. Date of submission of application form
4. Card Registration No. & Place of Registration
5. Class of Contractor (Attach Proof) 6. PAN, TIN/GST No.
7. Copy of work experience Certificate, Completion Certificate of any work executed by the Contractor in previous 03 years certified by an officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer.
8. Affidavit that the contractors has not been black listed or debarred by any govt. or semi-govt.
department from participating in tendering.
9. Undertaking/Information regarding current litigation or during the last five years in which bidder is involved.
10. Undertaking to the effect, that the contractor is able to invest a minimum cash to the extent of 25% of contract value.
11. Evidence of access to or availability of credit facility.
12. Refundable Deposit Demand Draft No/Date/Amount. Original DD to be attached.
13 Contractors earlier empanelled with University shall have to produce a Performance Certificate duly signed by the appropriate University authority.
