Scheme of Written Test
The 2-tier examination consists of the following two tests:
1. Written Test
I. Paper A (Objective): 100 Marks (Time Allotted: 01:30 hrs.) Category No. of
Questions
Marks Allotted
General Knowledge 20 20
Reasoning Ability 20 20
Numerical Ability 20 20
General English 15 15
Domain Knowledge 25 25
II. Paper B (Descriptive): 100 Marks ((Time Allotted: 01:30 hr.) i. Passage - 20 Marks
ii. Paragraph Writing (Narrative/Descriptive)- 15 Marks iii. Report writing- 20 Marks
iv. Essay Writing- 25 Marks v. Letter writing- 20 Marks 2. Skill Test:50 Marks
The candidates shall be required to score 40 marks in Paper A & 50 marks in Paper B in the written test to qualify for the Skill test or Interview, wherever applicable. The marks allocated for skill test shall be 50 &
the minimum qualifying marks shall be 25. The merit of the candidates shall be drawn based on performance in Paper-II subject to the qualifying of skill test.
The marks allocated for interview, wherever applicable, shall be 50 & the credit shall be added to the credit scored in Paper-II for the preparation of Merit List.
There will be no negative marking for wrong answers in the tests.
There will be 5% relaxation in qualifying marks for the Reserved Categories i.e., SC/ST/OBC/PwD, if the positions are advertised under such category.
