On-Campus Instruction for UG and PG Students-Bangalore Campuses 1. As has been announced by the Vice Chancellor in his address to the students, on- campus instruction for all the students will begin on 21 October 2021, subject to normal pandemic conditions.
2. However, the on-campus instruction and lab sessions can be started prior to 21 October 2021, during the ongoing semester, as per the decision of the respective Heads of the Departments/Deans, who will communicate it through their departments to their students.
3. While the University encourages students to attend the on-campus instruction when announced by the Departments, attending the On-Campus instruction prior to 21 October 2021 is voluntary.
4. In order to attend on-campus course instruction or to visit the campuses of the University, the students are required to have taken either at least one dose of two-dose Covid-19 Vaccine or single dose vaccine. The students should carry with them the proof of vaccination either as a digital copy or print out. Students without the vaccination proof will not be allowed to attend on campus-instruction or to visit the campus.
5. Those who have had COVID-19 infection and have recovered from it during the three months prior to their visit to the campus are exempted from vaccination. However, such students should carry a medical report of COVID-19 infection and the last COVID-19 negative report after the infection.
6. The students travelling from the states of Maharashtra and Kerala should carry a negative RT PCR report obtained from an ICMR Approved Lab, not earlier than 72 hours before his/her reporting to the student halls.
7. The students who are staying in the University student halls should also carry a negative RT PCR report obtained from an ICMR Approved Lab, not earlier than 72 hours before their reporting to the student halls.
8. The ‘Standard Operating Procedure for Prevention of COVID-19’ published in the student account in Knowledge Pro as well as the University Website is to be strictly followed by all the students attending instruction on campus and using the Student Residential Halls.
9. Campus appropriate grooming and adherence to campus culture is expected from all the students on all the University campuses and their extended premises. For further details on grooming and Campus Culture, the students may refer to the ‘Christite Handbook’ available on the Website under the ‘Student Services’ and in their Knowledge Pro (KP) account.
10. In case of symptoms such as cold, cough, fever, headache, breathing difficulty, vomiting sensation, diarrhea or loss of taste or smell, the students are advised to visit the nearest fever clinic the list of which may be found in the following website of Government of Karnataka: https://covid19.karnataka.gov.in/new-page/Fever%20Clinics/en
11. Students travelling from outside India:
a. As per Government of India mandate, students travelling from outside India are required to fill the Air Suvidha Self Declaration Form which may be accessed at https://www.newdelhiairport.in/airsuvidha/apho-registration

b. The Government of Karnataka circular dated 23 December 2020, requires all international passengers arriving in Karnataka to carry a COVID-19 negative certificate issued within 72 hours from departure.
c. International passengers with a valid RT-PCR negative certificate are exempted from home quarantine.
d. International passengers without a RT-PCR negative certificate need to take a mandatory RT-PCR test at the Airport and stay in home quarantine until the result is shared with the respective authority.
e. Students arriving by international flights to Bangalore are requested to check the Bangalore International Airport Website before travel.
