This is for information of all concerned that the Department of Chemistry will offer the following Open Choice papers in M.Sc 2ndsemester during Jan-June, 2020
1. Open Courses offered: 1)CH-203: GENERAL CHEMISTRY (Open Paper – I) 2)CH-204: QUANTUM CHEMISTRY AND MOLECULAR
SPECTROSCOPY (Open Paper - II) 2. Prerequisites for the Open papers
1. CH-203: Candidates pursuing PG at any Science discipline.
2. CH-204: Candidates pursuing PG in Science discipline and having any two of Chemistry, Physics, and Mathematics at UG.
3. No. of Seats: 51 for each Open Paper 4. Criteria for selection:
1. Selection of candidates for each course will be done on ‘First-come-first-serve’ basis subject to satisfaction of the prerequisites.
2. For CH-204, higher preference will be given to the departmental students, if they opt for this paper.
5. Last date of application: Students interested to study an Open course at the Department of Chemistry must apply to the Head of the Department in prescribed format (with documents supporting the fulfilment of the prerequisites), on or before26-12-2019.
