A REPORT OF ORIENTATION PROGRAM 2019-20
IE(I) Students’ Chapter - Civil had organized orientation program in BVM Engineering College on 5th September 2019, 5pm at BVM auditorium.
The auditorium was almost full by students. Our Principal Dr.Indrajit Patel, Head of Civil Department Dr. L.B Zala, Dr. A. K. Verma, Prof. A. N.
Bhavsar and our General Secretary Tarun Nagar and Ladies Representative Saloni Gajjar were present. Er.Mehul Patel, Alumni of BVM college, Training Co-ordinator and retired Deputy Executive Engineer of Walmi, Anand was invited as our chief guest.
Program was started by lightning of lamp and it was followed by a prayer song by 2nd and 3rd year students.

The dignitaries on the dias were welcomed by bouquet, after that a speech was given by Principal Dr. Indrajit Patel about the various facilities provided
by BVM and some information about BVM funds and assured the students to fulfil their needs for speakers. Head of department, Dr. L.B. Zala expressed admiration for the new selected chairman and secretary and whole IE(I) team (2019-20) through his speech, Dr. A.K Verma in his speech emphasized that the success in any aspect of life is enacted by working from the bottom of the heart, Prof. A N Bhavsar accentuated on team work and responsibilities in his speech.
A video of glimpse was shown off, all the events and tech. tours conducted by IE(I)-CIVIL STUDENTS’ CHAPTER in the last year (2018-2019) and a brief introduction of IE(I) committee members and faculties. Finally comes the most awaited part of the program addressing of the members of IE(I)- CIVIL STUDENTS’ CHAPTER (Team advisory, Team Publicity, Team Documentation, Team Graphics, Team Logistics, Team Tech & Tour) core committee 2019-2020 where firstly Er.Mehul Patel gave badge to Mr.
Shubham Babariya as Chairman of IE(I)-CIVIL and Dr.L B Zala to Mr.
Nayan Pansuriya as Secretary of IE(I)-CIVIL and all the other members were announced to come on the stage and a group photo was taken.Chief guest Er. Mehul Patel shared with the students about his work experiences, gave a brief about water management engineering and its growing demand in the next few years and its utmost importance in the near future. Vote of thanks was given to our chief guest, which marked the end of the orientation program at 6pm. Then dinner was organised for all the civil students and the orientation program was completed successfully.
