Concept of a rank of the matrix and the application of this concept to know the consistency and to solve the system of linear equations. Write down the matrix representation of a set of linear equations and analyze the solution of the system of equations. Linear Transformation and Orthogonal Transformation: Eigenvalues, Eigenvectors and their properties, Diagonalization of a matrix, Cayley-Hamilton Theorem (without proof), finding inverse and power of a matrix by Cayley-Hamilton Theorem, Quadratic forms and Nature of the Quadratic Forms , Reduction of Quadratic Form to Canonical Forms by Orthogonal Transformation.

Quantum Mechanics: Introduction to Quantum Physics, Black Body Radiation - Stefan-Boltzmann Law, Wein and Rayleigh-Jean Law, Planck's Law of Radiation - Photoelectric Effect - Davisson and Germer Experiment - Heisenberg's Uncertainty Principle - Interpretation of born of the independent Schroer wave function - time equation - particle in the one-dimensional potential box. Equip students to study engineering subjects more effectively and critically using the theoretical and practical components of the syllabus. Since the syllabus of English given in AICTE-2018 Model Curriculum for First Year B.Tech is open ended, apart from following the prescribed text, teaching/teaching materials are required to be prepared by the teachers collectively in the form of handouts based on needs of students in their respective colleges for effective classroom teaching/learning.

Know the determination of Planck's constant using photoelectric effect and identify the material whether it is n-type or p-type by Hall experiment. Write a program that prints a multiplication table for a given number and the number of rows in the table. Write a C program to merge two files into a third file (that is, the contents of the first file, followed by those of the second, are placed in the third file).

Students need to practice listening to the sounds of the language, in order to recognize them and distinguish between different sounds, to mark stresses and to recognize and use the correct intonation in sentences.

Computer Assisted Language Learning (CALL) Lab

Interactive Communication Skills (ICS) Lab

Results: After learning the content of the assignment, the student must know. Students are able to understand the basic properties of water and its use in the household and industry. They know how to foresee the possible applications of chemistry and practical applicability to become good engineers and entrepreneurs.

Construction, processing and application of: Zn-air and Lithium-ion batteries, Applications of Li-ion batteries for electric vehicles. Fuel cells - Differences between battery and a fuel cell, construction and use of Methanol Oxygen fuel cell and solid oxide fuel cell. Conducting polymers: Characteristics and classification with examples - conduction mechanism in trans-polyacetylene and applications of conducting polymers.

Converting an orthographic projection to an isometric view and vice versa by hand and computer-aided drawing. Projections of regular solids - auxiliary views - sections or cross-sectional views of regular regular solids - prism, cylinder, pyramid, cone - auxiliary views, computer-aided projections of solids - cross-sectional views. Development of surfaces of regular solids – prism, cylinder, pyramid and cone, Development of surfaces with computer-aided drawing.

Note:- External examination is conducted conventionally and internal assessment is to be done both by conventional and computer aided drafting. Course outcomes: After learning the content of this paper, the student should be able to. Write a program to check whether the given input is numeric or lowercase, uppercase or special character (use 'if-else-if' degree).

Write a function called remove_duplicates that takes a list and returns a new list with only the unique elements from the original. Write a function called draw_rectangle that takes a Canvas and a Rectangle as arguments and draws a representation of the Rectangle on the Canvas. Write a function called draw_point that takes a Canvas and a Point as arguments and draws a representation of the Point on the Canvas.

Write a Python program to demonstrate the use of method resolution order (MRO) across multiple levels of inheritance. Write a GUI program to create a window wizard that has two text labels, two text boxes and two buttons as Submit and Reset.

Volumetric Analysis: Estimation of Hardness of water by EDTA Complexometry method

0 0 2 1 Course objectives: The course consists of experiments related to the principles of chemistry required for engineering students. Students are able to perform estimations of acids and bases using conductometry, potentiometry and pH measurement methods. Students will learn skills related to the lubricant properties such as saponification value, surface tension and viscosity of oils.

Determination of parameters such as water hardness and corrosion rate of mild steel under different conditions. Able to perform methods such as conductometry, potentiometry and pH measurement to determine the concentrations or equivalence points of acids and bases.

Conductometry: Estimation of the concentration of an acid by Conductometry

Preparations

Lubricants

Corrosion: Determination of rate of corrosion of mild steel in the presence and absence of inhibitor

Virtual lab experiments

Measuring the electrical parameters for different types of DC and AC circuits using conventional approaches and theorems. Measurement of voltage, current and real power in primary and secondary circuits of a single-phase transformer. Three-phase transformer: verification of the relationship between voltages and currents (Star-Delta, Delta-Delta, Delta-star, Star-Star).

Identify the peripherals of a computer, components in a CPU and its functions. Draw the block diagram of the CPU along with the configuration of each peripheral and submit to your instructor

Every student should individually install MS windows on the personal computer. Lab instructor should verify the installation and follow it up with a Viva

Cyber Hygiene: Students would be exposed to the various threats on the internet and would be asked to configure their computer to be safe on the internet. They need to customize their browsers

Draw a block diagram of the CPU along with the configuration of each peripheral and submit it to your instructor. Features to be covered:- Design Fonts in Word, Initial in Word, Apply Text Effects, Apply Character Spacing, Borders and Colors, Font in Word, Initial in Word, Apply Text Effects, Apply Character Spacing, Borders and colors, inserting Header and Footer, using date and time options in LaTeX and Word. Excel Orientation: The mentor should communicate the importance of MS Office or equivalent (FOSS) Excel as a spreadsheet tool, detail the four tasks and functions that will be covered in each.
